Mike's Deli

Today was my 1st visit to Mike's Deli. And I really enjoyed my lunch. I got the Chicken Salad Sandwich on White Bread with Lettuce Tomato Mayonnaise and it came with a small bag of chips and pickle. The Chicken Salad was Delicious. The young Lady taking orders was very friendly and helpful since was my 1st visit. And the price was very reasonable. I do plan on going back sometime soon.

I was in town for business so I decided to stop in based on the reviews. I walk in and first thing Mike looks at me and said Where the F- you been? I was speechless at that point. He asked again. I was still dumbfounded by that so I still didn’t say anything. He pretty much just brushed me off at that point and went on about what he was doing. I almost walked out at that point. But the lady at the counter was much more friendly. I tried the Mike’s deli sandwich and it was actually pretty good. Definitely not a good first impression though.

I hadn't been to the deli in a really long time and decided to stop today. I had concerns right away. The lady making my sandwich wore no gloves!!! She kept touching her face and rubbing her eyes. First off, nevermind the pandemic but that is simply gross. There were tomatoes in the window sill with flies on them. Mike was drinking a beer as he was helping customers. Staff was super friendly and Mike knows every one of his customers. Very impressed with that. Side note....I tossed my sandwich and the only reason I didn't walk out was because she was already in the process of making it and they were busy.

Kids love his Friday Burger Special! My personal fave is the Mike's Deli Sandwich: Lebanon Bologna, Bologna, Salami, Swiss Cheese, Dressed w/Slaw, Onions(which I hold) & Banana Peppers. Served w/Chips & a Huge Pickle Spear. Everything I have had here I have enjoyed through the last 5-6 years. Before it was Dave's Good Food. Mike has owned it 15 years as of this May 1st.
