Worth the trip, even if you have to add the 7 mins to travel from the highway. So much better than any fast food option! There is a grab and go case with salads, etc or you can order something made. Clean indoor and outdoor seating, well-spaced apart. And, a big water bowl for your pooch. Try the sweet potato sandwich with kimchi and the steak fries. Delicious!

I was so excited to try CSG. At the conclusion of a 120 clinical hour rotation at Carilion I took my preceptor who works there out to lunch here. I'd been excited for one of their salads. It was delicious, as was the dressing. I paid for a large salad and it was anything but. You can see in the photo the regular-sized fork which is perspective on the size of the salad. I went back to the counter and asked if they were sure I'd received the large, and I was told that indeed it was. While it was delicious I wouldn't go there again for a salad. There are several spots nearby (Evie's or Wildflower) that have delicious salads and when you pay for a large you receive a large.

A delightful little store/eatery!! It is neat and well organized with an eclectic array of specialty items, wine and ready to eat/take home items. This is truly a charming venue with friendly, engaging employees. I must admit, I haven't lunched here yet but I've heard raves about their food, which can be enjoyed at an outdoor table on the sidewalk of this lovely neighborhood. The nice lady who rang me up was a delight, definitely returning and highly recommend.

The interior is very well decorated, and the staff is nice. I just find it really hard to give a good review when they charged $12 for just a ham and cheese sandwich. The menu said my sandwich (griddled cheese) came with caramelized onions, which I completely forgot about until I got one singular piece of onion in the entire sandwich. The pudding was decent, but there was close to no depth in the flavor or texture.

This is a great local spot to pick up local gifts and goodies as well as high quality staples. Excellent chocolate, snacks, wine and local meat selection. In addition, (and maybe best of all) they have an excellent made to order sandwich shop inside with high quality ingredients used creatively. I usually go for the special of the day which has some serious range.

I’m ashamed to say that today was the first time I made it into crystal spring grocery. Boy was I impressed! Firstly, the store is GORGEOUS! It’s clean, neat and artfully displayed. I love the plants - they give the shop such a nice ambiance. I tried a salad and some French fries, both of which were DELICIOUS and grabbed some prepackaged items for later! Can’t wait to try them! I am a gluten intolerant vegetarian and there were so many options for me! The staff were all courteous and helpful. I will absolutely be back!
