I’ve been twice. Once for lunch buffet & once for steak. No complaints & it’s bit quirky but that adds to its small town charm.

I had catfish fried okra and green beans my wife had the chicken fried steak and gravy. It was really good 😋☺️

Worse customer service EVER!, My husband and I were passing through the town and decided well let’s eat here for the first time. They were not busy, 6:00pm week night, maybe 5 tables taken and estimating a ball park of 20 tables available, 6 waitresses whom 2 were just sipping on a drink and talking, the lady at the register talks loudly across the room and ask “who wants the table of 2?” So needless to say we kept standing there maybe 5 minutes at the most and finally left, so I do not recommend this restaurant. 👎🏼👎🏼

The food sucked best thing they had was the tea. However the waitress was nice. Steak seemed boiled and had thick layers of fat as we're the ribs.

My family and I enjoy Gedneys. Great food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. The catfish is amazing and for the kids meal is the same catfish that is amazing as well. The expectation far exceeds what we could have thought of. May the Lord Jesus continue to bless you all!!

Spent a week in Florida and experienced our best meal in Roanoke AL! Saw alot of cars in the lot and stopped for lunch. I had country fried steak, okra, sweet potato, Mac n cheese, my wife had catfish n a little of everything else.
Everything was great! Cornbread and peach cobbler was good as grandma used to make.
This is a must stop for lunch if you are close. Better than Irondale cafe or Niki's West and that's saying alot.

Awesome, friendly service was impeccable!! our server was outstanding 💯 the owner was very friendly walking around checking on everyone. The strawberry fried cheese cake is off the chain!!! We will be back!!

After spending an entire day attending funeral services my husband and I were starving. We stopped here and recieved great service. The appetizer and salads were great. We were a little less impressed with our steaks, mostly because they came out less than warm, but overall our experience was great!
