Stillwaters Restaurant At Stonewall Resort

This restaurant has amazing food wonderful waitresses. It is a relaxed laid back atmosphere. They serve everything from the appetizers to the main course. Highly recommended if staying at the resort. I think you may even be able to come in and enjoy dinner and leave if your local to the area as well.

I ordered the corn-fried catfish, and I would say it was 90% bone and 10% breading. We also ordered the bolognese, and the sauce tasted like it was made up of pizza sauce with some milk splashed in (also, the garlic bread was a straight up rock). Drinks were overpriced, but they were fine nonetheless. The peach dessert was definitely canned peaches splashed onto some ice cream as well. Our one upside to our experience was our wonderfully kind and friendly server. Overall, I would steer clear of their dinner entrees and desserts. I cannot speak for their lunch or breakfast however.

Extremely disappointing experience. We had both breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was fine, service was slow. Dinner service was even slower, drinks were very expensive, and I was served a joke of a pizza. Imagine the worst frozen pizza you've ever had, and it's worse that that. They were kind enough to replace it but by the time they brought out the replacement dozen wings we were ready to leave. We would never consider eating here again. Go to the Thyme Bistro instead, or even Domino's.

My friend and I went here for dinner because there aren’t many other options for dining when you are at the resort. Well, Stillwaters has rude staff/servers and bland food. We were led to a tiny table where a cart full of cleaning tools were right next to us. We had to ask three times just to have it removed out of sight. Our server wasn’t too bad, but another person who brought out food had an attitude. We weren’t able to finish our dinner and left for a bar right next door. The bartenders there were friendly at least.
