Sweet Tea and Mt Dew were good.
Cheesecakes, frozen and eaten a few days later were also good.
Everything else (fish, shrimp, hush puppies, chicken, corn, and fries) was Meh!
I am unable to tolerate pepper and the ordinary chicken coating was seasoned with pepper.
We have been seeing Captain D's ads for several years (though none in our area) and were looking forward to trying everything.
In the future, we'll stick with Long John Silver's.

Very clean restaurant with fast service for a fish restaurant. Food was hot and enjoyable. Workers seem to "care" about what they were doing. (Company needs to charge the hush puppy receipe - very bland.)

We went kind of later in the evening, around 8:30. The food took quite a while to receive after ordering. It was warm, except for the coleslaw which was cold. The tea tasted a bit on the old side. Dont get this wrong, we know we ordered fried foods but for some reason it seemed as if we had ordered plates of grease. The corn on the cob was not good at all. The mac and cheese was a color that I've never seen before.

Food is delicious and fresh. Corn on cob fresh, juicy, buttered, tasty and deliciously satisfying. Customer service is rated number one. Friendly people. Positive attitude.

Good sea food for the price. Place was not clean though, little smell and noticed lot of left over foods in the dinning area which turned me off.

Our Captain D's Rockingham N.C great service friendly staff food always hot fresh ,there dinning room is open for service, 4/22 and for the seniors it all day Wednesday special, to the staff keep up the great service.

The fish plate is usually good. The hush puppies seem to not be fully cooked the batter was still moist.
