The Sporting Globe Rockingham

Went on Anzac day, they messed up by allowing us to book a table half an hour before they opened (11.30am table booked, but they opened at 12pm), but otherwise, the food was lovely, the service was prompt and pleasant despite the amount of people that arrived, and I was happily surprised to see that there were some games that we could play in the booths' touchscreen TV! Overall a wonderful experience, and I wouldn't mind going back at all!

The service was great. Our server Luke was great, constantly checking on us, even once it got very busy, even recommended us getting dessert. We ordered at before 6pm so food and drink came out fairly quickly. The platter and chips weren’t hot, but still warm, and the sliders were piping hot. Overall a great experience, glad we booked for earlier because it got busy once it hit 6pm

Great venue and lunch time prices and beer specials are fab! Fantastic staff and service. Burgers are always a hit especially bat $13.90! Only thing disappointing was hearing the chef scream at the young wait staff about not coming fast enough while he rings the bell furiously. All were busy serving, working hard and I felt this was not called for or appropriate.

Recently held our Wedding reception party here and it was perfect. We had the best time and all the guest loved the relaxed feel. We worked closely with the events coordinator Cody and she was absolutely amazing. Her professionalism and communication was outstanding. she listened to want we wanted and delivered a gorgeous room set-up. The food was delicious, the staff were great and we could not fault anything. We would highly recommend this space for any event or celebration.

Update I recently came here again on Tuesday 2.30pm with my daughter and the service was amazing.I could sit at the dining area in a booth and was attended to by a lovely friendly waitress.I ordered a burger and my daughter a chicken wrap both came with A free coke as part of the lunch time menu.The wrap was wonderful the fries were cooked nicely but my burger patty was way over cooked and seemed very small lost even in the small burger roll.Could not taste the mince meat as it was so over cooked.The place was so clean no food or dirt on the floor.The toilet was clean too.We had pints of little bull beer that were on special fantastic tasting beer.Really nice place and fantastic value!! I came here for their steak night on Tuesdays and was very impressed with the service of the staff at the bar. They were friendly and helpful. The porterhouse steak was so delicious and perfectly cooked the way I asked medium. The chips could have been left abit longer but that's personal taste. Overall very nice experience .

Good food and good atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. But we have two complaints. 1) The 1kg meat platter was nowhere near 1kg unless you count the weight if the board it came on 2) I had a lovely chicken parmigiana with beautiful fries - and an EXTREMELY disappointing salad which consisted of about a teaspoon of grated carrot, about a dessert spoon of tiny cubes of cucumber, a sliver of onion, quite a lot of mixed lettuce leaves (I only like iceberg and there was none of that) and that's it. NO tomato.
