We loved the food and would definitely recommend this place. Sophia took really good care and listened to what we wanted. The food quality and taste is amazing 👏 our pad thai had fresh peppercorns loved it and will definitely be back although we stay far. Thank you guys.

The only Thai place I currently trust on the North shore.
Most pseudo-Thai places cook oily , sweet or bland goop and pass it off in containers for a lot of money.
However this one is different, they actually make it tasty and hot.
Very quick service (they cook very quickly ,in under 10 minutes sometimes) and decent portions provided.
I hate the days I crave Thai and they are closed.

What a great place. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted by a lovely gentleman who seated us straight away. Then the beautiful waitress came along and helped with suggestions of what to have. The food came quickly and was delicious. We will definitely be going again.

Really great atmosphere with good lighting, decor and vibes.
The staff were attentive and friendly, and the traditional Thai food was outstanding. Will most definitely be coming back for more!
Has large seating areas too - so it is well suited for events and functions, not a bad alcohol menu either ;)
The highlight was the peanut butter chicken 🐔 😋 thanks again for the delightful experience!

I highly recommend Papaya to all. Not only is the restaurant lovely, but the staff are incredible and food tastes amazing. This is me and my partners favorite Thai! We always enjoy our food and every time we go in the staff are just so lovely and welcoming. Please go and support local, the amazing team at Papaya Albany deserve it :)

What a great Thai find in Auckland! Definitely recommended and the curries aren’t so creamy and right amount of spices. Oh yea...must mention about the ambience too. Felt like we were in Thailand when you step into the restaurant. Very friendly staff as well!

My wife and I dined here 7 or 8 weeks ago and were very happy with our experience there. The tom yum was one of the best I have had, the green curry was delicious!
I would definitely go back to Papaya!

Beautiful Thai style decorations. Foods are authentic taste of thai. Moreover, the service is very good made me feel like home.

My first time here. I love everthing in this Papaya Thai restaurant. This place was sent me home. I m Thai but I am so impressed how beautiful the food and the asmospher in restaurant. I feel like home. Love this place and definitely will go back again.

The best thai restaurant in Auckland so far. Food was super delicious!! We had tom yum, whole fried fish and soft shell crab. Everything was superb. Will definitely come here again when we visit Auckland again. And the staff are lovely!! Overall awesome experience.
