Vuu Asian Bistro

Fresh and delicious! Friends and I discovered this gem about a year ago. It's a little hidden, I pass it every time, so use your GPS and remember to turn at Home Depot. Straight shot down 92 from 575 or 400. We've tried at least 1/2 the appetizers, several entrees, and the sushi. My favorite dish is the Captain Crunch roll (see photos). The service is always friendly and every server is happy to share their favorites and make recommendations. I love that any spice dish allows for you to pick the level. We went last Saturday and I craved it so much I was back on Friday!

Vuu is by far my favorite restaurant to come to with family and friends. The atmosphere is amazing and everyone working there has been very pleasant. The food is fabulous and there is so much variety on the menu! While I may get almost the same dish every time, each time I go, it's served a little bit differently than the last, which, to me, is a great way to keep dishes unique and fun! I'll never get tired of coming here!!

If only they made sure it were warm...Are they really trying to save by not turning on the heat $$? It must of been 38 degrees Fahrenheit today chilly and windy... one reason why I did not give Vuu Asian four stars is because today January 21, 2020. It was colder inside the restaurant than outside. Second reason I did not give five stars is because the miso soup was bland flavorless. But came out super hot which was good I loved that. Presentation with everything was great, ambiance in the dining area pretty good. I ordered the Seafood Udon Noodle Soup $16 I thought was very pricey...if you want to go out of your way you can get a larger bowl of soup for less. And possibly might have more flavor. I get the idea that there has been no salt or other seasonings added. I will need to try different Pho Soup Restaurant more often. And I did the next day I went to Pho Roswell Vietnamese Restaurant on Crossville Road. Tried there Seafood Pho Noodle Soup and it was the best flavorful soup I've had since visiting 3 other restaurants. Now back to Vuu Asian Bistro & Sushi...... Because I love Sushi I also ordered an Appetizer Masago Flying Roe $5 pretty simple and was delicious. .I followed that with an order of 9pc. Nigiri Special $26 also very expensive this is a dish that can be served else where at many other Restaurants for a lot less amount of money. Will not ever order 9pc. Nigiri Special again! No doubt in my mind this place has it meaning its a good spot. Just pricey. Menu for me is exciting and plenty choices..so I do want to go back and try some of their market price entrees. But I'll probably return when it warms up outside.

I’m very confused how this place has so many good reviews. Seafood udon soup was not good. Broth tasted like soy water and the seafood quality was very poor. I didn’t even finish it and switched to the sushi, which was marginally better. Hardly any scallop in my spicy scallop roll. What it did have was plenty of tempura flakes which were super soggy. Will not be back.
