Longhorn Steakhouse

Posting an updated review with pictures this time. This is a consistently great place for food and service. We had dinner with friends last night and everything went great - which is getting more rare in the Covid era. We were seated right away, our server interacted often and very well and all the food was cooked to order. The manager even stopped by to say hello. We’ve been coming to this location for years and have always had great experience.

My first time at this location and the food did not disappoint. The steak was cooked to perfection. This meal, Renegade Sirlion with 8ct grilled shrimp on a bed of rice & 2 sides, was a lot of food for $20. My only complaint was the noise. It was so loud I almost got up and left. There was a large party celebrating a birthday or something and kids were running around and screaming, they were singing to the top of their lungs and clapping very loudly. It was awful sitting through all of that. I enjoyed the food but not the experience. Went back last Sunday. It was less noise but the service was not good. I ordered the same meal as listed above but this time the plate was full of grease and juices from the steak which I wasn't happy about. I moved the food to one of the appetizer plates! Also, I didn't receive my shrimp and rice, so I had to wait until the waiter finally shows up to request the rest of my meal. We had to ask for refills and the ticket. The food was still good though!

We had one of the friendliest waitresses. She earned more than the recommended high tips from me. The food was a bonus. Delicious, and just what I expected from Longhorn. The dessert was exceptionally delicious. They gave a whole different meaning to my favorite Chocolate lava cake...it was sinfully delicious and mouth-watering yummy. Looking forward to going back just for the dessert.

I invited a close friend of mine for lunch to Long Horn, my treat. Her mother died a few months back and she is now moving back to her hometown in a whole other state to be with family. While I was getting dress I said out loud I just wish for us to have a great time. Y'all we got there put in order chatting it up. Our waitress (an Asian lady )was the best. Describing the various ways we can have our steak done. We had our laughs. Somewhere in between after giving us our meal. The waitress came back over to share a note with us. I read and though oh wow that was a nice note not realizing it was for us. Y'all I was balling tears when the waitress said someone just paid for you ladies whole meal and dessert. Sorry I forgot to get a picture of the strawberry cream shortcake. It was delicious.That person didn't know that was our farewell meal to a long friendship hoping to still keep in contact with each other. Thank you so much whoever you are. This is a story I will forever tell the world. Hope to pass it on one day. On our way home we was just kept shaking our heads, that really just happened to us.
