Menchie's Frozen Yogurt

Poorly ran location. Every single time we have gone (including just today) the store is closed during hours that listed as open. Went at 1:00 today and there was a "closed" sign taped to the door. This has happened at least 5 other times. If they're going to be closed until late afternoon, they need to update the times in the window.

Good variety and nice folks working there, but as other reviewers have noted, prices are up dramatically. Expect to pay $7-$9 per person. You can spend less at Brusters for decent ice cream or spend less or the same for fantastic ice cream at Jeni’s at Avalon. The alpine bakery is five minutes away and you can get a top shelf treat for the same or less. If you have young children Menchies is still a great way to go because it’s a perfect experience for them and the portions are smaller. After that you should move on.

Very rude staff members we came in at 7:20 and they wanted to go ahead and start emptying all the frozen yogurt in the machines when we had about 40 minutes left to enjoy frozen yogurt. I brought three of my kids under the age of five here so that they could enjoy some frozen yogurt but the two girls working there we’re running around hitting each other in the head acting very immature which is something I don’t want my kids seeing. I think the manager at this location definitely needs to train his staff members. When I asked what time they close because I wanted to start cleaning up they started laughing at me because they thought my question was funny.

First and last time going here. After a nice dinner my fiancé and I came here for dessert. We got regular sized servings and were shocked at the price. $24 for 2 people?! This is dessert, not dinner! We only live 5 minutes away and re weighed when we got home to find out it only weighed half the weight we were charged for! Hopefully management contacts me for a full refund. Ridiculous. Did not want to make a scene in front of all the other patrons and young teenagers working there.

Guess they should update their hours, because they definitely don’t open when the sign says they do. This isn’t the first time (or the first location) I’ve been to where I’ve tried to take my two kids to enjoy a pre-lunch treat. If you can only imagine their disappointment to arrive to locked doors and no one in the store. Would love to call the owner and have them talk to my now crying children and explain to them why they couldn’t open on time
