Boston Market

At the drive-thru window I ordered a three-piece dark sesame chicken dinner with mashed potatoes with gravy on the side not on the potatoes and I ordered quarter White sesame chicken dinner with spinach. When I paid for the order I asked for extra sauce and I was told that I will be charged a dollar for extra sauce so I declined the extra sauce only to find when I got home that there was no sauce at all on either of the chicken dinners. I did not receive sesame chicken as requested. Also I did not receive the spinach that was requested. Also the gravy was put on the potatoes instead of in a separate tub as I requested. When I called back to the restaurant to inform them of the problem they told me I would have to bring the dinners back with the receipt to get replacement dinners. I informed them that I have been in traffic 45 minutes and I was hungry and I was going to eat the dinner that I had even though it was not the order I requested. They told me there was nothing else they could do for me. Not at all pleased with their customer relations.

The sides were so DIS-F-GUSTING that I threw away the supposed "steamed veggies", stopped halfway through the nasty gooky "sweet potato souffle", and couldn't bring myself to digest the "chicken". When I bite into the corn muffin, it scratched my tooth because it was hard as a damn rock! I'm going to report them to the health department. The awful food served has got to be breaking food violations. We won't eat there anymore. It's a shame. By the way, whomever is responding to these reviews is insincere! People have been complaining about this place for a long time. To get this $10 plate of dog food TODAY shows that they DO NOT care about the quality of service or food at this place. Do yourself a favor, find a safer place to eat.

I'm not even sure to say about this visit. Frankly, I think I'm in shock. The picture of the plate is what I left on the table. It was inedible. Who serves wings on a turkey platter that is typically all breast meat? About one third of the portion was skin or bones. The remaining meat was chewy. Overcooked? I think so. The broccoli was cool at best. The mashed were fine but by then I had lost my appetite. Boston Market was at one time one of my favorites. I think I'm done with them. Unfortunate. (Cassandra- Thank you for taking the time to reply. I filled out the survey and I did ask someone to contact me. I love(d) your restaurants but this was a one-star visit. Your staff was courteous but rushed. They really weren't ready to serve at all. Most of the sides weren't in and those that did didn't have spoons, etc. I walked in at 11 on the nose and they had a huge order going out for catering which may have been part of the issue but how anyone can weigh meat out and put skin and bones as part of said weight, I have no idea. I had no confidence that someone who would do that would fix the issue properly so, I left. JB)

My experience with this location was beyond excellent! The staff was super friendly and professional, and my meal was the perfect amount of food and was fresh and piping hot. Being as I myself am a shift leader at Dunkin Donuts I was very pleased with the atmosphere as soon as I walked in the door. I hope this locations GM sees this review as the staff that took care of me deserves to be recognized for the great job they were doing.

I normally pick food for dinner from this location. I decided to try them for catering during Christmas. I called the store to place my order but when I came two days later to pick it up they could not find my order in the system. They apologized but I had to wait 30 minutes for the meal to be made up. I decided to give them one more chance so i called them today to order a large sweet potato souflee for the evening which I really love. Once again they couldn't find me in the system. The evening manager acted like he didn't believe me. I had to show him my phone with the time stamp of my call to the store. Also, I had to wait 10 minutes to get the order filled. It was too late to go any where else for way I needed. Unfortunately the laugh is on me for given them a chance to make things right. I will never be back and definitely do not recommend this place.

There's no Boston Market near where I live, so I took the opportunity to go while visiting family in Georgia. Boston Market has so many delicious items, but I wasn't very hungry, so I had a bowl of Bottomless Chicken Soup. Then I had a second bowl. I used to go to Boston Market (at the time, "Boston Chicken") twenty years ago. The soup is almost the same, but it used to be much saltier. The new soup seems much healthier, and it still tastes good. The employees were smiling and friendly. Everything looked clean and fresh. I'll have to go back again before I leave town. UPDATE 12/2019: Same great employees, but there was no bread to make sandwiches. I had the Rotisserie Chicken Noodle Soup, but there were no spoons, so I had to eat it with a “spork” (nearly impossible). Very disappointing.
