Los Cerritos Mexican Kitchen

My fiancé and I ate here during the lunch hour but were allowed to eat breakfast since they serve breakfast until 3. I had the Chilaques con Huevos and she had the Mexican Omelette. Both were really delicious. Definitely big plates so expect to perhaps take some home with you if you don’t finish it all. The Horchata is a good drink to have with either meal so if you stop by definitely try that. Other than that, the service was great and the food was decently priced. I would recommend this to anyone passing through Roswell looking for some good authentic Mexican food.

I have no doubts this place is good every night, but we happened to make it for Taco Tuesday and let me tell you... even if they were $9.99 vs $.99 they really were (receipt for proof)... I'D PAY IT!!!!! Yes the mango margaritas were delicious too!! Some of the BEST tacos I've ever had! (and I'm from Texas so I feel like I have a good base lol) The owner said they have their own butcher and also make their taco shells from scratch! I believe it! They were so crispy but also the perfect thin & not heavy. They were FULL with meat and ONLY & $.99 ea on Tuesdays! I'd prefer these any day but HIGHLY recommend!! OK we came back for breakfast, it was amazing, I had huevos rancheros, My hubs has the skillet & it was delicious! And then came back for dinner again because I'm serious it was that good. I had the Chimichanga, Dave had the enchiladas, let me tell you the ground beef is just out of this world... ok OK but let's talk about dessert, the sopapillas were AMAZING and then we got to try the Xango a la Mode... if this was my birthday this would be my cake... holy moly OMG this thing was absolutely the most delicious dessert I've ever had, the best combo of sweet, salty, warm, & cold. AGAIN, HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The food was excellent and the service too! The flan was thicker than I expected but still tasted great. For my main course I chose the combination platter ( allows you to combine your own preferred dishes) I chose the beef taco, enchiladas and the chile relleno. The enchiladas and the chile Relleno were delicious. Cheesy and the salsa on top had a nice little kick.

We have been here twice, and enjoyed our visits. Our servers have been very nice and helpful. Chips and salsa are fresh and excellent. The only reason for a slightly lower rating was that our food was swimming in grease. I wonder if it would be a good idea to drain the meat before mixing in sauces and seasonings? The flavors were excellent, just a bit disappointing to have to use up two napkins to soak up oil before enjoying the entree.
