Finley's Round Rock

Really delicious food! Decent beer selection. Reason for the 3 stars is because of service and covid protection measures. On the back patio there were no servers, bar service only. Which is usually fine, but there were always tons of people crowding around the bar, not ordering, just standing and hanging out and not a mask in sight. The bartender was very nice and was doing what she could but she really needed some help, especially with the not so socially distanced crowd.

This is an ok option for round rock but it can definitely be better. I think my biggest issue was seeing the price change on the bill. Apparently, the prices on the menu are cash prices. I understand that it happens but it could have been handled better, like the waitress tell us or the online menu that we order from state that fact. This was my third time going and not that impressed but I will probably visit again to see if there is an improvement.

Took about 10 minutes for anyone to come over and clean off the table after we sat. Took our drink order-had to ask for water multiple times before server brought it. The fried pickles were pretty greasy. The waitress seemed very forgetful. Our food took about 30 minutes-sliders and the club sandwich. The food was pretty good overall, though my bacon blue slider was missing bacon totally. Hefty portion of fries. We would come back and give one more try, with hopefully better and faster service. Our 2nd visit-took even longer for someone to come over and get our drink order. We got our drinks after the table next to us-who ordered after us. I do not recommend the buffalo chicken dip-mostly cream cheese with chunks (not shredded) of dark and fatty meat. It was gross. The chips were also too thin they would just break off in the “dip” I had to get up and finally get my own silverware to even try and eat any of it. The salted watermelon margarita says frozen on the menu but it’s actually over ice. The Cobb salad was decent-not much blue cheese though. Other than being “hip” there’s no appeal, even their TVs are bad quality. I don’t think we will be returning after this visit.

I'm so sad to give this review. We sat outside and enjoyed mimosas and appetizers. Everything was fabulous. The burgers were good. Unfortunately, the rest of the entrees failed. Eggs Benedict were hard boiled. Everything was lukewarm to cool including fries, bacon and eggs. King ranch chicken was poorly constructed and not as expected. It took 1 1/2 hours to get our entrees and they were not busy. To their credit, they comped a significant portion of the check. They need to fire their chef and rework the menu. We loved them a year ago, but we will not return after this experience. Too bad...

I have eaten here twice and got the chicken fried NY strip both times because I liked it a lot. My wife had the grilled chicken and liked hers. My daughter got the Mac & cheese and like it. The last time I wen there were a lot of people there so it seems a lot of other people like it also. The servers were wearing mask if you are concerned but the guest of course were mostly not wearing mask since they were eating and drinking. I am not sure if they do curbside or not, I have not personally seen it.

Super friendly staff each and every time we’ve been to Finley’s. Nice big outdoor area out back and also outdoor seating on their patio. Food is really high priced for what we ordered. Itty bitty dish of hummus and super expensive meat-free burger. But keep adding more alternative options like this but make portions bigger and bring the price down a little. You’ve got a nice thing started and people enjoy hanging out here.
