Taco Bueno

Food is fairly close to others Taco Buenos I have visited your n the past. Freshness could use a little improvement. This location is frequently flat out dirty and disorganized, on the inside. The salsa bar is a mess and not fresh. On this day I dined indoors. When I arrived it was dark out and the external lighting at this location was not on which made for a very dark parking area. I mentioned to one of the employees that the lights were off outside. She just nodded at me. When I left, ~20m later, the lights were still out.

I don't know why I keep giving this location a chance. The food is inconsistent but the customer service is consistently bad. Today one the tacos on my platter was shaped like a "J". I let the guy know it would be difficult to eat like that and he took the whole platter and set off to the side while he made someone else's food. Then went to the back to reload his sour cream. He finally made another taco and threw the first in the trash and said "I never heard of that!" Must be hard to find good help. Won't come back.

Hi. I've been to Taco Bueno many times and tonight definitely differed from the norm. The service was slow and the drive thru had to ask me to repeat my order 4 separate times. After that, he asked if I wanted salsa and I also asked for salsa but we didnt get any. We also didnt get straws for our drinks or chips for our queso. They were out of several dipping sauces and sweet tea as well. Overall, pretty bad experience.

The food is good, but the service is lousy, and the restaurant is filthy. The place was empty, but the trash was overflowing; the floors hadn't been swept or mopped and there was food all over them; the tables and benches were dirty; the bathrooms were disgusting. The staff is okay, but the guy at the register was kind of rude. I didn't understand what he said, and he responded like I was dumb as a bag of hammers. Sorry, but if you mumble and speak really fast, I probably won't hear what you said. It helps to speak up and enunciate. I know that's asking a lot these days. The restaurant really needs a new manager or something. We like their food quite a bit, but the experience beyond the food is dismal.

The beans had no seasoning in them they were very bland. My order was complete opposite of what I ordered. The good thing is the staff was a lot better than normal. The staff that I have experienced before acted like they hated the job and they were always talking to each other rather than helping customers.

Terrible.. The girl on the mic at the drive-thru can't seem to get the order right but seems frustrated at the customer as a result.. had the person at the window repeat the order and she still got it wrong. Then my beans had hard crusty dried beans in them, tacos had slimy lettuce that tasted a little like sewage, guacamole was brown. Please, do yourself a massive favor and spend your money somewhere where the food is ingestible.

I stopped going to Taco Bueno because they often messed up my order at the drive through. I decided recently to try them again to see if they improved. Nope. They got the order wrong again. Stick to the core menu and you're probably ok. Get anything unusual and you probably will get the cheaper item instead. You'll still pay for the more expensive item.
