This is where you can get 💖REAL💖Shanghai food in SGV, plus unbeatable price. If you are looking for true 上海生煎包, look no further. By the way, 上海生煎包is different from 水煎包。If you aren not into Shanghai local flavor (YES, THEY PUT SUGARS IN MEAT, IT'S NOT FOR SWEETNESS...), then pick other place in the same Plaza.

This is my dad’s favorite place to get Shanghai food for his home sickness. However, today’s Sheng-Jian-Bao were burnt. I messaged the shop, and no, there is no such thing as customer service... My dad said it happened before and he was too nice to say anything. Guess I’m not.

One of my all time favorite places to get dumplings. The XLB here are so fresh and tasty. I have been coming here for years and am always greeted by the kindest staff who remember us and our orders. Great quality for a great price.

I had the worst Zongzi (salted duck egg york and pork 蛋黃肉糉) from Little Shanghai Restaurant. The sticky rice was mushy and in dark soy sauce color, had no salted duck egg york, had a piece of pork and nothing else. The beef stew soup noodle and dumplings were below average. The restaurant is in a poorly managed food court. I will not visit this restaurant again.

Ordered the basic sheng jian bao (pan fried pork buns) and XLB and 12 hours later something in it is preventing me from digesting. I don't consider myself a sensitive girl tract person, but I've been wanting to throw it up because it's just making me feel horrible. Sweats, nausea, indigestion, bloating, flatulence, burping, I wonder what they put in here that is causing this much pain 12 hours after I've consumed just those two items. NEVER getting food here again. Shady body reaction=shady ingredients in food.

If you want to eat real Shanghai food, this is the place. Meat moon cake, yellow fish soup noodles is my favorite, stir fried rice cake, stinky fried tofu, soy sauce duck all taste d good. We have to drive 35 minutes to get there but the trip is worth it.
