The Tuning Fork

Great food and good service , food was fantastic every part of our meal coffees included was spot on. And coming from a cheffing background we're hard to impress. (We had a full English breakfast, gluten free pancake, and banana bread) Dogs aren't allowed inside but plenty of outside seating for us and a dog bowl for water.

I really wanted to write this review as this is the 4th time I have had the pleasure of dining at the Tuning Fork! People of rugby and surrounding areas should know of this fantastic place! Firstly, we were welcomed at the door with a friendly smile and were quickly seen to! We then sat at a lovely table and really enjoyed the great decor and some delicious refreshing cocktails! We had an espresso martini, a pink gin fizz and a rhubarb and ginger fizz!! Didn’t wait too long on the drinks - they were great. Secondly, we then had gorgeous Sunday roasts! we had a lamb, beef and duck dinner on our table! All of the meat was cooked perfectly and with care - very tender and flavoursome! The flavours throughout our dishes, left us speechless with many happy eating noises!! (Lots of Yums, mmms and omg’s) We were left very satisfied and full - we took home our delicious deserts!! We loved our dinner today and will absolutely return to the turning fork where food is cooked with passion and love. The chefs clearly love what they do! Well done to the team at the turning fork!! The food was amazing! Honestly one of the best roast dinners I have had on a while with a wonderful option of duck for a change! Followed by the most amazing carrot cake. Only drop one star because the service was a bit slow to begin with. It was only until our second server came along with cake did the service pick up and significantly improve as our server made suggestions on the cake and even offered us a cake menu to take home. Despite the slower service, servers were still polite and lovely, and the food is so worth returning visits! Would definitely advise booking in advance!

We were in the middle of a 4 hr trip and we decided it was time for lunch. We chose a place and it led us to a wonderful meal of sausages and chips for me (as the child) , Caesar salad (for my mum) and butterfly chicken (for my dad) who said it was one of the best!! My sausages were delicious ,especially accompanied with fries and mayo. My mum commented her salad was fresh and crisp , and my dad said his was one of the best he had eaten in the WHOLE OF U.K.!!!!!!! Overall, the food (from our view) was made with a lot of love and care. This filled my appetite very well 👌,as sometimes , the portions were small in other restaurants we’ve been to. All in all, it did outstanding in every single category. Would definitely recommend! Mum:10/10 .Dad:10/10. Me: 9999999999999/10!
