I can't believe the audacity, we got a lava cake for dessert and my girl loves her some vanilla ice cream- not a scoop to be found! If she didn't like the cake so much, you better believe I'd have said something.

I have had so many delicious plates and rolls. So fresh and the presentation is always delightful too. The menu has so many great options. Even when it's busy the food arrives pretty quickly. Highly recommend.

Nov 2023 Update: Visited Mikuni after a really long time. I missed Mikuni so much! They don’t have valet no more. The floor still feels sticky :)
My fav sushi place in Sacramento. I go there once every time I visit Sacramento. I highly recommend following options - truffle fun tuna, BBQ tuna, garlicky edamame. Their sakes are bomb as well. Fish is always fresh and yummy. Please visit. There is always a long wait, their bar service is awesome as well.

Had an amazing experience at Mikuni Sushi on a Saturday afternoon! The variety of rolls was impressive, sashimi was top-notch, and the server's recommendations were spot-on. The only downside was the noise, but the popularity speaks for itself - there was a line when we left. Overall, a 5-star dining adventure!

Mikuni’s is my top two favorite sushi spot. I’ve eaten here many many times. Their fresh fish is what keeps me coming back again and again. It is mouth watering deliciousness. It’s the closest sashimi/sushi outside of Japan. I’ve had all of their sashimi and rolls and there is none that I wouldn’t order again. Pair it with sake or an adult beverage and life is good again. ❤️

This place is amazing. The sashimi platter was generous, and both my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The ambiance is ideal for dates and casual hangouts, and its location is conveniently close to Capital Hall and other exciting spots.

First time going to this awesome place with my family to celebrate my Russian grandmother's birthday. Food is good, their sushi including my order of Tuna Slider 2 hit the spot! Seriously, try Tuna Sliders 1 or 2. It's interesting but good at the same time. Of course the edamame never fails. My mom loves them a lot!
