Leatherby's Family Creamery

My family and I have been coming to this specific location for years. Leatherby’s has always been our tradition for many generations. My great grandparents knew the Leatherby family personally and Leatherby’s will always be a favorite ice cream spot. Not only is their ice cream fantastic, but their food is also amazing.

Love this place! Ice cream is a little expensive but it is soooo GOOD. I come here every time I want great ice cream lol last time I ordered burgers and fries so the worker kept my ice cream in the freezer for me while waiting for my food. I had my toddler with me so she brought the food and ice cream to us. That was nice of her.

My “brother from another mother” and I have a Xmas time tradition of going to Leatherby’s for the classic Black & Tan Ice Cream Sundae so after our annual meet up with military unit, we popped in for our treat. As usual, we were not disappointed! The atmosphere was classic old school with awesome service and a sundae that is as better and more satisfying than the fanciest dessert I have ever eaten anywhere. Rest assured, the tradition will live on! PS. If you are hungry, you can get lunch as well.

The Original! Always excellent homemade ice cream and whipped cream and sauces and sundaes. The food is reasonably good, but somewhat overpriced for what it is. I prefer to eat elsewhere and come here for what they're famous for: dessert! My favorite sundae is on the wall in a big graphic cutout, but they took it off the menu some time ago. No idea why. It's fantastic. I don't even remember what they called it. I just point to the picture and ask for that and they still make it for me. Put it back on the menu, please! It's the one with "slices" of sherbet balanced on the rim of the glass.

My son wanted dessert after his promotion ceremony so we decided to go to Leatherby's. We ordered three Christina's Carmel Crazes, one Rita's Strawberry Cake, and one Jennifer's Brownie Delight. Everyone was pleased. The Caramel crazes were dripping with caramel. The brownie in the brownie delight was moist and perfect for pairing with ice cream. The strawberry cake was excellent. The strawberries were flavorful and the cake was moist.
