This place will catch your sense of smell as soon as you reach the front door. Absolutely amazing in every category. You will not be disappointed if you love BBQ. I cannot wait until the next opportunity I have to go back with my husband. Thank you Tank House for making me believe that real BBQ and it's side dishes do still exist.

Tank House is awesome! I walked in on a Friday at 1130am and Derek was behind the counter/Bar and was quick to make me feel welcomed! They have a chalk board to the right of the bar that lists all of the "local" brews they have on tap....Derek was able to give me some recommendations and samples. I ordered the wings (some of the best I've had) and ordered the T-Man BBQ Sandwich to-go....great experience, great food, and great company... I'll be back!

Have you ever been to a place and bought food to go, but didn't realize how amazing their food was until you got home. Then wishing you bought more. This was my personal experience with Tank House barbecue and Bar. The tri-tip was fantastic; melt in your mouth fantastic. The meat is tender and flavorful. Although, several barbecue sauces come on the side, you won't need any of them to enjoy the SmokeHouse flavor. The table for one, $20, could be shared, but there won't be any leftovers. And leftovers are the best part of eating out. There is a large craft beer selection and an outdoor patio to enjoy your finger licking barbecue. The area is a little sketchy. I wouldn't leave your car lingering long in this area. This isn't a great date spot, because the prices are a little high for a first date. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY

I randomly got this recommendation from my Uber driver and so I tried it out and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! I of course got the standard ribs and pulled pork and they were amazing. The surprise was the wings. I REALLY love wings and I try them everywhere that looks promising. The flavor is absolutely off the charts. I’d say if the meats, this was the most flavorful one. That being said, the sauces are what really compete each of the meats. I got the meat treat with tator tots and Mac n cheese + the wings + both sauces. Tater tots were normal. Mac n cheese okay. I would focus on the meats but you’ll obviously need something to break that up.

Phenomenal! Came from out of the area to try this restaurant based off reviews & it did not disappoint. You can tell it’s a local favorite! You go up & order at the bar, the bar tender that took our order was so nice. We had kids as well & they loved it. The food was incredible, fresh, flavorful & the drinks were great as well! We had a variety & everything was something to rave over!

The smokiness of their meat is amazing, I continued to smell it on my hands for the rest of the day even after washing them several times. I had to resist all urges to over eat here and keep trying more, and I will definitely come back. The brisket was delicious, and the ribs were too, although they weren't the most tender ribs I've had.

We have seen this place several time when we come to the farmers market on Saturday’s tonight we decided to try it for date night and it did not disappoint at all! This is by far the best bbq I have found in Sacramento! The ribs are juicy and full of flavor. The brisket was absolutely delicious and not try at all. The smoke on the meat was so good and not over powering. The house salad was well put together! The staff was super friendly and took very good care of us. We will definitely be back to try the sandwiches!
