This turned out to be perfect lunch. I wanted to get a low carb dish but there was no obvious choice on the menu so i asked for meat on the spinach and poppyseed salad. They were able to use rost beef from their sandwich and ohhh that was tasty.

Always consistently good food and generous servings. The Chilli Thai Fries are very tasty and SPICY! So good. All the meals my wife and i have tried have been delicious.

1st time visiting.....
my salad was good, (their Italian dressing was amazing!), and my roast beef sandwich with au jus sauce was tasty. the kettle chips were pretty good too.
my only complaint is that I didn't realize I'd be my own waitress and bus boy.... not what I expected for a sit down place.

I call Prontos the little sister of Paesanos. With many of the same options but a little more counter-service style, this is a great option for lunch or a quick dinner. I really enjoy their Farmer's Market salad, which is filling and has delicious flavors. I wish that they had the same happy hour specials as Paesanos, or at least offered one at all. I might be more apt to go here if this was the case. Otherwise it can get quite pricey if eating out here often.

Great sandwiches and pasta, reasonable and fast. Can get busy during weekday lunches because of the proximity to many state offices so be prepared to go a bit early or a bit late. I am a huge fan of the Turino panini.

Best croutons on their salads ever. Some sort of cornbread croton, so good. The Thai fries are awesome too. Gets busy for lunch so get there early.

Not your typical pasta place.
When you enter this restaurant, you see the cashiers up front. You order from them and take a number to your seat.
What I really like about this place is that they have an awesome beer and wine selection. Although the beer selection may not be huge, they typically offer a good range of beer.
The food is really tasty too. They have awesome salads and pastas!
You can sit inside Pronto or the bar/pizza place next door and watch sports. A fun place to come for a relaxed meal.

I've only received good service here and I love their spaghetti and Italian meatballs. and they great sandwiches.
I'm now a regular there and always look forward to buying lunch or dinner there.

Great food; not the most incredible since I have been to the (relatively) new Paesano's in Davis and the food is excellent there. But it's good for a lunch pick me up and the quick service is always a plus. Make sure you order ahead!! The wait is always out the door so obviously alot of people appreciate the food here.
I would go back every once in a while, not the cheapest for a lunch but for the amount of food you get and the consistency, it's worth it.
