I've lived in Sacramento my whole life and sadly I have only just discovered this place about a year or two ago. They have the best fries I have ever had in all of Sacramento. The employees are very friendly and make sure you are satisfied with your order. They do tend to get crowded but that's just because they're so great. Hands down recommend trying this place out and seeing for yourself just how amazing they are.

I've come to old sac a thousand times and I always pass by this small busy spot. I never really paid much attention to it only cause there's always a crowd and it never occurred to me that they're all just eating and waiting for their food. I just thought it was a convenient place to sit down and wait for UBER or whatever. The signs did catch my attention but I wasn't always craving hotdogs or lemonade.

Spud shack has always been a favorite. I've been going here since I was young and usually get either chili cheese fries, garlic fries, or a funnel cake. If you come here you most likely would want to share with somebody else because there servings are really big!

This place is great. Reminds me of fair food. We got the bacon wrapped hotdogs and the Ireland fries. Amazing place that is worth the visit.

So good! Fries "from around the world." Let's be honest: there's nothing authentic about these dishes but if you love french fries like I do, you won't be disappointed. I had the Italy fries on my first visit and they were darn tasty. Definitely recommend.
