Speaking of Jerry, he’s the heart and soul of the establishment. On my visit, he went out of his way to interact with my little ones, leaving a lasting impression with some sweet treats. It's gestures like these that transform a meal into a memorable experience. While I don't reside in Sacramento, a trip to the city isn't complete for me without a stop at Phat Jerry’s. I had just had knee replacement surgery and when I got home I didn’t have much of an appitite but for some reason I was craving Phat Jerry’s phillie cheese steak sandwich. I ordered on line for delivery. My food was delivered within 40 min. I live a ways from the restaurant and the sandwich was piping hot. So hot that I had to let it cool down. Not like most places where you usually need to put it in the microwave. The sandwich was delicious. So much meat, just the right amount of spice! I also ordered a side salad which was very good although it had opened up in the bag and some had spilled in the bag. No biggie it too was delicious! Thank you for making my day a lot better.

Been going here for several years now, I craved it when I was pregnant and I would highly recommend going…. My personal favorite 6 in with meat and cheese only and steak fries with a side of the bbq sauce that I do believe is homemade, a little spicy they should make one less spicy also but either way it’s addicting and I will continue coming there as long as it’s still open!!!!

So, my brother happened to come across this place when looking for a good sandwich shop in our area. After checking out some pics and thumbing through reviews, we decided we had to try it. This pace is freakin awesome! When we first tried them we lived much closer just down Madison. 4 years later my brother and I more than willing to drive down from shingle springs to get ahold of one of the awesome super phillies with extra meat (as recommended by the owner) and some of the best curly fries I've ever had! If you get the chance to get close to this place I highly recommend stopping by!

This place is sooo good. Just order already. Today I ordered the Vegetarian cheesesteak. The pics they have on the website don’t do it justice. I had to check twice to make sure they didn’t give me a regular cheesesteak, that’s how good it looked and tasted. I’m not a vegetarian. In fact, six days ago I had an original Philly cheesesteak from Gino’s when I was in Philly last week. And I’ve had a cheesesteak my first time coming here. That’s why I came back never thinking I’d enjoy the vegetarian version just as much! (The onion rings are fantastic as well.) Whatever you order will be delicious.
