Waffle Square

Wasn’t sure what to expect from a nondescript breakfast diner but this hit the spot. Lots of seating, reasonably clean, and affordable with options for all diets. The Hot Juan Skillet was delicious and full of flavor. If I’m in the area again I’d definitely stop in to try their sweet breakfast options like the berry brioche French toast.

This place is hands down the awesomest place I've had breakfast. The staff is very non judgemental. I brought my chihuahua Bj with me which after the morning I'd had, I was certain it was going to be a problem. Not only was it not a problem but the waitress who was absolutely wonderful BTW brought him his own chicken.Then the manager or owner not really sure which who was also wonderful brought BJ his own 3 pieces of freshly cooked bacon. They didn't even charge me for it. I looked a mess I'd been out all night I was tired my friend and I ordered biscuits and gravy and a skillet both were awesome. My friend has been coming here since before Covid and told me more stories about these wonderful people the food is great and cheap. The service goes above and beyond. I'll be eating here everytime I can afford to eat out. 2 thumbs up 5 stars. Woot woot you guys rock. You got a real hidden gem here Sacramento.. A not so hidden, maybe forgotten gem. Stopped in for breakfast and coffee and was greeted with a good morning and quickly followed by a darn good cup of Joe. I had the vanilla creme crepes with blueberries, bacon, over easy eggs cooked to perfection and a side of hashbrowns with the perfect crisp. The place is clean and tidy and the prices are moderate considering the times. Might become a regular even if just for the coffee. Only regret is I couldn't swing a bigger tip as the server deserved it.
