The food was really good. I will say the fries tasted great however there was no crispiness to the outside at all whatsoever it was just soft fries.

This place is SO good!!! The fish is fried to perfection, NOT overly salty, and this is exactly what I’ve been looking for in Sacramento!! I hate that it took me so long to find this place, but better late than never! I go get fish here about 2-3x a week now ❤️

When I want good fried fish, this is the second place I think of, mine being the first 😊 I wasn't disappointed, the snapper was on point. Even though I didn't particularly care for the potatoes salad, it was ok The greed were were delicious as well. Keep it up, I'll be back!!!!

Pleasant service. Quick. Fresh. Nice portion. I forgot to ask if the greens are cooked with turkey or pork, though. The menu doesn't specify this information.
I ordered softly cooked catfish, but the plates weren't marked. Since we both ordered the same, I ended up having medium cooked fish that evening. It was good, just not what I ordered for my meal. I'm told my order was delicious, hence, the five stars. The fried okra was good. The pie treat was nice.
There are notices to check your food order before you leave, but it's packed and handed to you out the door. I'm not sure how they expect customers to check it prior to exiting... Perhaps I'll try the buffallo and something else unusual next time.

All I can say is wow absolutely more than happy with the food and service I definitely would recommend it especially if you are a seafood lover 😁😁

Swung by here while out working and I’m super happy that I did! The owner is the sweetest and no one can compare when it comes to fresh fried seafood in the Oak Park area! Had the Whiting w/ fresh cut fries and it was amazing. I usually have to wait til my FL trip every year to have whiting. Flaky, perfect crust, & the fries are as legit as they get. Oh, did I mention the tartar sauce? Made in house by Evette herself. Best tartar sauce I’ve ever had! This place is a MUST try if you haven’t already!

Have eaten here over 20 years. Left the state of calif now back Flowers is most original for home made fish. Need a little more seasoning.

The catfish was delicious as well as the potato salad. What impressed me the most was the house made tarter suace, it was bomb. I am not a fan of tarter sauce either.

As usual, my experience was AWESOME! I'm 57, I've been going to flowers since my 20's.
Great food!
No comparison when it comes to fried fish in the Sacramento area.
