Old Tavern Bar And Grill

This place has come a long way. Ever since they remodeled the place it has been a good go to spot in downtown. Cheap drinks ($4 for well) and cheap food that is worth eating. Don’t come here if you’re looking for a big menu or are starving, they serve great drunk bar food. Mostly frozen and fried but worth it for what you pay. They have a back patio where you can smoke or grab a seat and enjoy the outdoors. Not a huge place but a great layout. They have a pool table which is regularly used and pinball machines. If your local I recommend it, if you’re visiting the city there are plenty of other places I recommend.

This is another gem in the greater downtown Sacramento area. Old tavern definitely has some good history too it. Ever since the pandemic happen, being open early morning serving food and cocktails is just a a taboo now. It’s great to see a long standing history sac bar still standing strong all these years every through a major pandemic. If your looking for a place to unwind in the early morning hours after a long night shift of work I highly recommend the Old Tavern. Opens up at 9 am and it’s just a great sunny inside establishment. Got plenty of spirits and taps for any cold beverage need. Don’t sleep on this place during the day. I’ve got some great hospitality and great drinks from old tavern early mornings. Again one of few places now in Sacramento that opens up this early (bar). Stop by and check this place out you won’t be disappointed.

Great atmosphere, respectful staff, the bartender made great drinks, even the DJ played good music. As a first time customer I'm definitely going to come back. We didn't get any food this time but if the service we received there is any indication of how good the food's going to be I look forward to it

The Best Hidden Burger Spot in Sacramento! Hands down ... I've tried them all and they ALL suck. nothing can compare to this place. I've FINALLY Found a place in Sacramento that I can be proud of. I'd pick this place over IN&OUT 100x a day. Cheeseburger 🍔 with bacon 🥓 ketchup and mayo only! That's how I get mine and I'm in Love with it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YA WANNA GRAB A BEER AND WATCH THE GAMES AND END THE NIGHT WITH SOME GRUB. ☆☆☆☆☆ 10/10 * CALL IN TO SEE IF THEY HAVE BURGERS BECAUSE THEY SELL OUT FAST*
