The vast variety at this location alone makes for a 5 star experience. But included in their vast selection are employees who are genuinely friendly and polite. I really felt welcome and loved the overall shopping experience I had here. I will be coming to HyVee for the majority of my future shopping.

I personally love the self checkouts when I don't have a lot of groceries! If I have a lot of groceries I go through the regular checkouts and most of the time they're quick and get you out of there fast. The only time I've noticed the line slow down is when the customers are writing checks or they want to tell the cashier all about their gallbladder operation.😐 Customer service folks rock as well, btw! (P.S. I sure wish the bags we put produce in as well as the bags at the self-checkout were easier to open!

My favorite grocery store. The other day an elderly women forgot her debit card, I paid for her stuff even tho she politely declined. The man working gave me a discount for my own groceries. So nice of him.

Very nice clean grocery store with just about everything you need! They also have fantastic parking options for those who have served which is very awesome! They have great ready to eat food and good options for taking them home and cooking them! Will visit again next time I am in St Joseph (or anywhere that has a HyVee and I need something!
