Subway

Absolutely disappointed in the Subway on North Belt Highway. I would give 5 stars to the young lady who helped me, but would give 0 stars to her manager! There was 2 girls working and a man and as one of the girls made my sandwich, the man started getting mouthy with her and started yelling at her for throwing away a receipt he left on the counter. She explained that she was just cleaning and threw it away. Instead of handling the interaction like a professional he proceeded to yell at her IN FRONT OF ME. That is NO way to speak to an employee right in front of a paying customer. The interaction between them made me feel extremely uncomfortable. As I was going down the line, the man persisted and started making her upset. I told her at the end I was sorry for how he was acting, and that is no way to get your point across, especially in front of a customer. She was very nice and like I said, I would give her 5 stars! Obviously he was not having a good day. Probably will never come here again. Might also look into new management/employees who treat others with respect.

I just went through the drive through here and when they handed me my food the lady said “Did you just throw a cup out, you could have handed us the cup and we would have thrown it away” in a very snotty and rude voice. I did not throw a cup out, as I told her, but she didn’t seem to believe me and was still very rude. Your employees need to get their facts straight before they go accusing paying customers and ruining their day. She was middle aged with blonde hair at the mid-belt location.

Went inside because I had a digital coupon and also a gift card on my phone. The coupon was redeemed without a problem. The gift card in my Subway app apparently has no bar code attached to it and the staff member did not know what to do and when she asked for help, the staff member who was working in the back said she didn't know how to do it either without bothering to come and check out the problem herself. I will be contacting corporate about this issue. It is not the first time it has happened in St. Joseph. What good is a gift card on my phone if there is no way to redeem it?
