Nancy’s Burgers & Fries

Stopped in here for lunch. The place was stifling. It was so hot and humid inside that I feel like their kitchen vent must not be working correctly. Everytime some one opened the door a rush of nice, fresh air came in reminding me of how nice it was outside compared to inside. The place feels kinda dirty and the staff is not that great at keeping the tables clean and it feels greasy like they don't deep clean this place. It not how you want to feel about a restaurant. The food : the burger was actually pretty good. The fries were not great. They reminded me of the kind of frozen fries you get at Denny's, bland and generic, which is not a good thing. I feel like they could be good if they kept the place cleaner and made better fries. As it is I can't recommend.

The website says that orders placed around dinner time for pickup should expect to take a little longer. Let me tell you what, that is the understatement of the century. They only had 6 customers inside, all waiting for orders, and no one eating. They had 3 employees and somehow my order took 45 minutes??? 30 minutes over the estimate??? During my wait only one other order came out. Staffing issues? I don't know. Good food but not worth the wait.

Food is good. But front cashier is extremely rude. Didn’t really give us a chance to speak for our order. Asked if we wanted a drink and I turned to my girlfriend to ask and she immediately said “Okay your total is $24.00.” Perhaps she was having a bad day but the customer should not be treated the way she treats them. Blonde with septum piercing and glasses.

You cannot call ahead and place your order if you’re paying with cash (understandable) but a serious bummer if you’re trying to avoid the wait times at this place. I’ve also found that if you order ahead online or over the phone they tend to underestimate their wait times which leads to multiple people gathered inside waiting for orders that aren’t ready in time. The interior of this location is dated, sad, and just overall uninviting and needing some TLC. Customer service is basic, not necessarily friendly or exceptional but totally fine for just placing an order to go. Food is hit or miss, sometimes our burgers are good, sometimes they’re over cooked or soggy. We will make the extra drive to five guys in the future… UPDATE: Would give 0 stars if possible. We decided to give it another try and were fully disappointed. Staff is miserable and the food and service truly show it. Our food was cold and burned, fries were soggy and cold. This place has become a joke and you can count on it for bad service and food every time. I hope the owner sees the countless reviews and does something to fix it, because we used to love visiting this place!
