Latte Play

Latte Play is our favorite venue! Their coffee is great! They have organic and specialty options (almond milk lattes), as well as a great menu. It's a great place to go with, or without kids. The walls are decorated with art from local artists and the shop is always kept very clean. My children love to play there. There are plenty of toys and activities that are safe and age appropriate. The staff is kind and patient with the kids. The service is fast and always made to perfection.

We really enjoy stopping in at Latte Play! The coffee roast they use is SO delicious. The mochas and flavored lattes are really good, but even just a cup of black drip coffee is fantastic! My kids love the toys (naturally!) but they are also big fans of the kids' food options, their favorite is the vanilla steamers :) I have met up with friends at this coffee shop more than a few times and it is always a nice place to sit down and visit with a beverage while we watch the kids play. We love it! :)

I love Latte Play! I bring my baby in from time to time to enjoy some play time, while I relax with a cup of coffee and lunch! I have always brought my own baby food from home and NEVER had a problem. Even forgot a spoon one day and they provided me with one no questions asked! We have never had a bad experience with anyone who works there for any reason. There is always plenty for my baby boy to keep busy with too.

Latte Play is hands down the best cafe in Salem. It's a children-friendly venue, but don't be afraid to come in if you're childless and just looking for a chill place to work or meet up with friends (I have no kids and I come in weekly). The food is healthy and fresh, the staff is friendly and gracious, and the space is clean and welcoming. I'm so happy I found this place!

Our Sunday Escape. This is the ONLY place in Salem where Mom, Dad, and both kids can get away. The owners have a dedication to seriously good coffee, and have a relaxed and tolerant attitude towards kids. In fact they give them plenty to do. It may not entertain kids over 9 or so, but for those with small ones and a love of good coffee. Go. The food is basic, tasty, and kid friendly. Healthy and organic snacks and drinks are available

The concept is great, but the atmosphere could use a lot of help. It was dimly lit (half a dozen florescent lights were flickering and needed to be changed), and poorly decorated (the paint color was an eyesore, there was no trim or curtains or even carpets on the floor), so it did not feel comfy and cozy at all. The toys were mediocre but they did keep the kids entertained. I understand the no outside food or drink policy as it pertains to adults, but being asked not to give our kids a few crackers is over the top. There was very little selection of snacks for kids even available for purchase.

Extremely lacking in toys and activities. Nearly all of the toys are worn and missing parts and pieces. This place has seen better days. They also don't allow outside food or drink..... at a children's gathering area.... riiiiight cuz I want my child's diet restricted to what you serve. It all adds up to then not wanting you there longer than to eat out drink your order. This is even more disheartening because latte play had a distinct advantage in being the only wifi cafe designed to have your child play at. They could have done so much better and business would show for it.

THANK YOU for all you do for Salem-area families! Since the loss of the Coffee House Cafe, there are few places where one can go to meet with friends or read a book with a cuppa while kids are entertained at the same time. The efforts the owners put forth in events for families is astounding. Your service to Salem is amazing and you are so appreciated. Thank you again!
