Wasabi

To describe my experience, I am going to quote Spock from Star Trek, "Fascinating". I recommend you first check their website and call ahead. When I arrived, the place was busy. I was seated at the bar. A birthday party 🎉 arrived after me and I thought a major argument was going to start between a few party goers and a man sitting at the bar. The man said they should wait outside since their seats were not available and it was crowded inside. The man at the bar questioned an employee about the situation and was told that the staff was moving quickly to seat them but were very busy serving all the customers. This occurred when restaurants were allowed to seat customers during the pandemic. The cooks at the hibachis were entertaining to watch, but, one kept banging his utensil and it gave me a little bit of a headache. Disco lights went off when "Happy Birthday" was sung. I had the Salmon Tartar for an appetizer. It was served sushi 🍣 style with a small raw egg 🥚, avacado and fish 🐠 eggs. I had chicken teriyaki for dinner. Large portion for price. I had Strawberry Cheesecake Tempura, fried ice-cream,for dessert. All were good, but, the cheesecake portion was small. I ordered hot tea 🍵. It had a strong flavor. It was french pressed with rice 🌾 (?). I was offered a refill. Wifi available. They were able to process my Restaurant.com certificate with no issues. Place is popular. Update: Thursday evening 🌆, December 2022; Still busy! Spicy Tuna Pizza, tuna, avacado and eel sauce on a tortilla. Very good! Vegetable Yaki Udon soup 🍲, slurp!

Food was awsome as always. Only way it would have been better would have been if we could have eaten outside and had a drink., but they are still waiting for outside dining permission from the state.Not their fault but could limit our visits because we prefer to eat outside and enjoy the nice weather

We came on a beautiful sunday afternoon when most places were pretty packed. Wasabi has a few patrons inside but wasnt too busy whatsoever. They have lots of sushi options. Very nice atmosphere and decor. The salad came hot and the beef came cold. Food tasted bland and rushed. The entrees for the table all came at drastically mismatched times. Service wise there was definitely room for improvement but wasnt the worst ive experienced. Food was also overpriced for what it was, so I can't really find too much to redeem Wasabi Steak House. Overall was a painfully mediocre experience. Theres multiple comparable places that Id choose in the future over this one.
