Delicious sandwiches! I had the roast beef hoagie and the Reuben! Both of them were delicious. Nice atmosphere and the dessert was good too. Chocolate cake! Yum! Yum! Yum!

I ordered from here for the first time today. I got the 12 Deli Sub and the best way to describe the sandwich:

I planned on taking a photo before biting into the sandwich but just couldn’t wait. Again…awesome!!
Beats any big franchise sandwich and I for sure will definitely be back. Needless to say, I highly recommend Joe’s Deli!

Come hungry! Great food and tons of meat! This was my first time eating here and I was very impressed. The place is very clean and cosy. The staff was super nice and welcoming. Good was tremendous, I had the Ruben and could not finish. Go by and enjoy lunch!

Melt-in-your-mouth turkey sub, for most people a 12 inch sub is two meals. They really pound on the meat. Turkey is thinly sliced and most meals come with chips and the specials come with a drink as well. It looks like they have live music on the weekends.

We fed the Southern Virginia University men's volleyball team and staff for under $300, which for us is a miracle. The sandwiches were monstrous and the pricing was very reasonable. Everything was prepared for our pickup and ready on time. Congrats to Mary and the crew.

The sandwiches and service are always excellent. I've never had anything from here that I wouldn't heartily recommend. If you love a good sandwich, look no further!

I found Joe's via a Google search. I knew I found the right place when there were at least 10 people outside awaiting their order. The hot pastrami/swiss was huge, and really good. Also got (2) Italian subs, which were loaded with meat/cheese as well. Seems to be the best sandwich spot in Salem. Due to Covid, employees walked the orders outside.

Joe’s Deli in Salem, VA.is the best place to get Sandwiches. My husband ordered Super Hoagie and I ordered Pita Tuna. Their sandwich is FULL of meat, very good and delicious. I highly recommend this place. Give it a try and enjoy!
