Applebee's

Stopped into Applebee’s for a bite to eat and saw a drink on a specialty menu called a Strawberry Merry Swirl. Asked the bartender, Bridget G., for one and MAN!! Is it good!! She fixed my husband’s just like he liked it and the Strawberry Merry Swirl was so good!! Totally worth it and she was friendly and efficient also. Stop in and get you one and have Bridget as your server. You won’t regret it!!

I order a medium rare steak and it came back well done, even as the waitress said. They brought another and it was still not correct. They gave me a whole less than $4 off my entire ticket. The mash potatoes tasted good and so did the steak but it def wasn't cooked right, nor was the situation handled correctly. The waitress was great tho!!

On 2/11/2022 my employees ( 5 total ) called in a "to go order" for a late lunch ( around 1:30 -2:00pm) when he arrived he was greeted by a lady that referred to herself as the "Manager" and showed him the way to the bar area to pick up the food and pay. That's when things went severely south, when he was given the food and was paying the same lady that introduced herself as the "manager" told him that she doesn't want us to come back because every time we came in we didn't leave a tip ( this has been the only time we been there in a YEAR) and that the waiters and waitresses only make $2.75 an hour and they work hard for their money. I agree they do work hard, but the only people that were involved in this order was the cook and the manager and with her STATEMENT she just shafted the very waitresses and waiters out of a $25 tip that was laying there. He picked up that tip money and left. We won't be eating there again and neither will all of the 5 families that represent these 5 employees.

I hit this joint up on regular basis. But because of all the crazy $g!t about restaurants having a hard time keeping a full staff, the demeanor of the people working was somewhat down as you might expect, and things were moving a litte on the slow side. We're all very much aware that practically all restaurant are running short handed and understaffed, so when you make the decision to go out to eat you should already be prepared to have longer waiting times, and slower service. Nothing should come as a surprise, and cause you to loose your cool. The food was good as always which is the most important thing when laying your hard earned cash down for a meal.

Waiter was nice and efficient. Tonights cook is green and nothing was good, cooked right, or on par with Applebees standards except the kids chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks. Ordered a frozen drink and it was delivered as liquid with a 1/4" of frozen on top and big chuncks of ice. It also took a long time to get it. There were only 2 people at the bar and the bartender was talking to them rather than making our drinks. The manager made excuses for the bartenders frozen drink saying that "well, it melted" with attitude and walked off to make it herself only to not add the middle layer of it 😳. I drank it, oh well. I wasnt too upset about the drink but the hostess was 😂. The "manager" would have been more efficient if she had asked ME what the problem was and then just offered to fix it rather than not even asking ME and coming with an attitude. I would have been happy to tell her that we had been watching the bartender while waiting for the other drink we had ordered 11 minutes before my frozen drink and that she just didnt make it right. It didnt melt, it had to be frozen first to melt. So much pepper in the broccoli it was hard to eat. Steak was the worst I have ever had, primarily pepper and not cooked right. This was the first time I had ever eaten at Applebees and left plenty of food on my plate. We all decided not to order the desert we were originally planning to order assuming it would also not come out right. I usually love Applebees but I would never eat at this location. They have low standards here. Also, it wasnt busy. I have only ever seen an Applebees slower when I went there right at opening. ALL the staff Except the waiter need serious corporate training.
