Coaches Burger Bar

I eat here pretty often and have had a range of decent service to not so great experiences. This week, I was at the restaurant twice, once at dinner time and the other before the dinner rush had started. We had different waiters but had bad experiences both times. It took maybe 30 minutes or so before we had even placed our dinner orders after sitting down. All of us at the table had empty cups for most of the meal. On the first occasion, our waiter started to walk away quickly and when we asked for refills, it appeared to be an annoyance. The other time, there wasn’t even an opportunity to ask. We hadn’t seen the waiter the entire meal before they came to the table, asked if we needed a box and about the checks and left. It felt like we were a nuisance, and they were just ready for us to leave. I can understand if a restaurant is busy, you may not want people sitting there for hours and hours, but we had maybe been at the table for 45 min - hour from the time we sat down. I really did enjoy coming to this restaurant on the times where we had good service and overall I thought the food was decent . After being made to feel like it was a bother for us to be at a restaurant to order food, we will not be coming back.

I stopped in on the 13th for my birthday, Cierra was such an amazing waitress. She made the night feel like I wasn't dining alone while also being great to her other tables. And the food, that sandwich practically melted in the mouth. The flavors were amazing. The fried pickles were so delicious. I got the milkshake of the month, it was perfectly thick, and really calmed that sweet tooth. Totally recommending this place for a great experience and delicious food.

Coaches is always delicious! Love every burger, my kids love their chicken and corn dogs. Can’t wait for the chili to (possibly) come back. Zach was our waiter and was excellent! The bacon was forgotten on my husband’s burger and he immediately took responsibility and took the charge off our check after offering to get us some if we wanted. Zach was very nice and brought us refills without having to ask. Great experience at Coaches as usual. Thanks Zach!

Clean and everyone was very friendly. Our waitress was perfect all around and provided us with a great dining experience. They serve huge portions, well worth the money and everything was cooked perfectly! Highly recommend the Patty Melt and chili cheese fries! Oh, and can't for the to die for milkshakes! Always ask for the shake of the month, well worth the $6!

We have been eating at Coaches in Salem for a couple of years now. They're great for a quick date or a family night out. We always have a wonderful experience, even with rambunctious children in tow. More than a handful of times we've had the server Cierra. She is very attentive, always friendly and overall great at making our meals flow perfectly. I'm sure we will be back time and time again!

We enjoy Coaches Burger Bar... this one may have just been having an off day. The service we experienced in the middle of the afternoon was sub-par to be polite. The young lady that waited on us seemed to be far more concerned with her cellular phone than what we may have needed while we were there. Like always, the food was good, and the portions were generous. They do look like they are in the process of finishing off the courtyard area in the back it seemed to be under some kind of work when we were there, there was extension cords stretched around. It's worth the drive to the one in Calcutta.
