Traveling through Colorado, my friend and I found this gem! I had the best pork chop, with jalapeno jam and 5 spiced sweet potatoes, ever! The meal was so amazing I named my motorcycle "Pork Chop' in honor of the Uptown Cafe! Absolutely amazing! I live in Ohio, so I'm not sure the next time I will ride back there, but it would be worth the trip.

Incredible! I'll drive from Denver to eat dinner here again. Special Low country boil of Quail and Shrimp impressed my Southern dinner mate, and the Apple salad with Waygu beef was very satisfying. The Vanilla Creme brulee was the best in the world! Plus the service was exceptional.

I love this resto! Pesto grilled grouper, garlicy potatoes, grilled asparagus and charred tomato butter sauce is simply divine! Amazing customer service.

My husband and I ended up stuck working at our hotel all day and weren't able to get out for lunch. The ready to go salads from the market were perfect for picking up and getting back. The hostess that checked me out was very kind and helpful considering I was pretty flustered in trying to find a quick and ready option. They were perfect for what we were looking for at the time,. Won't return this trip, but will remember them if we are in similar circumstances in the future.

Southern influence red eye gravy, shrimp and grits and more. The crispy chicken is quite good as was the sea bass special. The polenta goat cheese app was as good of a beginning as the creme brulee was as the finish. Excellent presentation.

My go-to pandemic food. This is the best gourmet take-out food I've ever had. AND back when I could eat outside on the wonderful back patio, the service was always impeccable and the thoughtful entrees and drinks the best in Chaffee County.

I’m not a review writer so that speaks volumes in itself. We just had the most amazing lunch here, the food is fresh and very flavorful. Our family of 4 enjoyed everything we ordered. Do not pass this place up! Kudos to the chefs, very impressed they aren’t afraid to use spices and mix things up!

Truly outstanding! The service was amazing, and the food was honestly one of the best meals I’ve ever had! We sit outside on the patio and loved everything about this experience. I will definitely be back every chance we can

The atmosphere and the service were both really nice. We ordered the double stack smashburger and the chicken bacon brie sandwich. Both the sandwiches were pretty good but very difficult to eat. The french fries were great.

The Uptown Grill in Salida was a plan B for our breakfast after things didn't work out at our hotel.
Service was a little on the slow side but it was fine.
Coffee was good.
Ordered the huevos rancheros. As a New Mexican, I was interested to see the Colorado spin on the dish. It was tasty but different than it is in NM. It was piled on top of potatoes (instead of to the side,) the tortilla was not fried, and it was borderline sweet instead of spicy.
My fiancee got the American and she reported that it was fine. Looked good from my seat.
Prices were reasonable.
