Penny Ann's Cafe

I recently enjoyed a fantastic breakfast at this bustling spot. Despite the busy vibe, the food was absolutely phenomenal. I opted for the breakfast bowl, and let me tell you, the gravy was an absolute highlight! Rich, flavorful, and a perfect complement to the dish. The bustling ambiance only added to the excitement of the experience. Five stars for fantastic food and a lively atmosphere!

This was our first time here, the waitress was nice. We went on Sunday at 1pm, so we got a table right away. Overall, we will go back before we leave. We did have an issue with black stuff in 2 of our water glasses and in the OJ. The French toast was super soggy from sitting in a eggs too long, but the pancakes 🥞 were the best I've had in years. For real!

We were on vacation and looking for some good breakfast and we found the perfect place. The hot cakes, WOW! Amazing best ones I’ve had! Jenni Lynn our server she was absolutely amazing!! We were a party of 12 and she made sure we had everything we needed the whole time. Fast service too! We had to come back the next day, she happened to be our server again and she remembered us and we had the same great experience. I highly recommend this place!

Appointment in Salt Lake City and wanted some breakfast. Driving around and was looking and came across Penny Ann’s Cafe, this was a pleasure place. It was busy so we didn’t have much choice about seating which we were kind of crowded into a corner by the ice machine but barring that all was made better by the food. The menu is extensive so kind of know what you want lol. Suggest you look at the menu online. I will say everything they brought out to other tables looked good and large plates so bring your appetite too. We ordered a little bit of food that could have feed a whole family. We ordered the short stack of pancakes and should have stopped there lol. 2 could have feed our family but my wife ordered the 3 meat omelette and we could have split that but I wasn’t feeling that so I ordered the country fried steak and it had a lot more than I bargained for. Not that I was ever going to eat all of it. It had 2 eggs and country potatoes covered with gravy. Soooo good. The service was awesome and the atmosphere was very friendly. People were just waiting until they could get a table. On a better day we would have sat outside on the patio area but it was kind of cold. We will be back to try it again but we will be more conservative on the ordering this time.

Super great diner! We were looking for a small locals joint for breakfast, and Penny Ann's was perfect! My partner got the Chile Verde skillet, and I was almost mad I didn't order that for myself. It was so good! I had the small breakfast, and the pancakes were perfection! Also, some seriously great coffee. We will be back before we leave town!
