Taqueria 27

Great restaurant. We really enjoyed taqueria 27. Their tacos are very good while their apps are also very good. We got their roasted guac and chips and salsa. We loved the chips and salsa and like the guac. There wasn’t a ton of flavor, we felt it was under salted. But they added balsamic to it which was a great choice and something I have never had. Tacos: chicken, carnitas, and carne asada. The carnitas were verrrry good. Would return for those. Carne asada were very good. Not as good but very good. Then the chicken were just alright. Pretty bland and nothing special. Churros: Wife loved em I dislike them. I’m just not a fan of churros, but she was raving about them! Overall very good! Definitely one of the better places we’ve had here in SLC.

This is a hidden gem in Salt Lake City! It's not your typical Mexican food restaurant, but a twist on gourmet Mexican food with unique flavors! They do not take reservations, but they are VERY accommodating. Their menu is diverse, and they have a rotating menu of beers and taco specials! I had their duck confit tacos! So delicious!

This particular location has a cool vibe and atmosphere. The staff here are also amazing and were great for our large group. The actual food inside the tortilla is amazing and they have a great variety of tacos. I give this place a four out of five because the tortillas were just mediocre and kind of dry. The chips and salsa are not complementary and come with one refill of chips. Prices = $$ Overall had a great experience and the food was good.

This place deserves a five star rating for the following reasons. 1) Upon entering the restaurant, my party was greeted with a warm welcome that felt sincere and inviting. 2) The waiter had a good energy about him that added to the greeting we had been given. Also, the waiter was more than willing to help answer our questions and provide suggestions to what it was we were looking for. 3) The food was perfect. From the look to the taste, I couldn't have asked for a better meal. The ingredients seemed as fresh as could be, with the meats being pretty savory. Our nacho plate with mushrooms was beautifully put together and surprised my expectations, as I am not that big a fan of mushroom. 4) Upon leaving, the staff gave thanks for our patronage and invited us back. All in all, this was a great experience, from the service to food to service, this place did it just right.

My favorite location for tacos. If you like margaritas, don’t think too much just get their T27. Always ask the waitress for specials cuz for some reason they are always good, just like the freshly made guacamole of the day. I’ve been in downtown location and it’s never like at Milcreek one. Service is always excellent and quick. One recommendation, they should get cocktail straws :)
