Great place to visit for Mexican food in the slc area. I thought the food was really yummy. There was a very long wait time which was weird as the restaurant wasn’t totally full so I’m going to assume it was a staffing issue. Which does explain why the service was a little stretched thin. Overall a great restaurant!

Wonderful establishment with great food and service. Worst part is finding parking! Park in the garage and they give you a sticker for 90 minutes. Chimichanga and mega iguanarita were great.

So the service was not the best, the cheese Queso was not the best, the margaritas were again not the best and last but not least I thought the fajitas sucked.
However, i'm spoiled rotten. I frequently visit some of the best Mexican restaurants in the world back in Orange County California so who am I to judge this nice restaurant.
If you're in the area and you're not spoiled rotten like me then this is a great Mexican restaurant. If you come here and you compare it to the awesomeness we have back in Orange County California then you might not agree with my five star review .

What a fabulous atmosphere. Delicious food. Our server was fairly helpful with recommendations. Would just recommend coming back more frequently to check on people.

I have eaten this place many times, My father and I had shown up at five, and they were packed. Very busy place food was good. I had the blue iguana combination, got a taste of a little bit of everything, and it was good. I would recommend it atmospher it was okay the service could have been better.

Comfort food and great margaritas! Festive environment, good varierty menu. My favorites are the sangria margarita and the black mole with chicken. Great location for going to bars downtown. I would recommend making a reservation.

We found this tucked in the basement of a building and the reviews look pretty good so we had dinner. It was so good a week later we returned. It is the most authentic Mexican food I’ve had in a long time, and quite frankly, some of the best that I have ever had. The salsa was thick and not watery as is the case so often. Slightly spicy.
Everyone agreed that the food had lots of flavor (partially responsible is the freshly made tortillas, not from a factory), and the fresh mix of meat and veggies. The meats must be marinated as I thought they had lots of flavor. The portions were quite large. Service was very good too.
Next time I visit this area I plan to return to this restaurant. Only issue is parking can be a slight challenge although there is a garage next door and I think the first 90 minutes is free, but it is not opened on Sunday. Street parking is available though.

Great tasting food! Good filling portions. Best Mexican food outside Mexico 🇲🇽. Amazing ambiance and vibe to the place. The service was courteous and made recommendations for best-selling dishing and drinks. Got the blue iguana combo and iguanarita. Definitely would recommend and return to try more 👌

Based on two visits, the in-person dining was better than the take-out. The food tastes better when enjoyed with the atmosphere. I'll be sure to return here on my next visit.
