Corner Bakery Cafe

This place totally slaps. I was in the area for a doctor appointment. Afterward I was looking for food. I live in Ogden, and we have a Corner Bakery. So I knew what to expect and was not let down. Pretty darn good breakfast with TRUFFLE coffee. Great environment and fun people work there. I will be going back next time I am in the area. I was with family. They especially loved the breakfast and coffee/hot chocolate (for some reason, not everyone likes coffee. Go figure 🤷‍♂️) The staff was so incredibly super nice. This place is fairly special. Really good, really, really good food. Nothing on the menu is bland. The prices are a bit high. But this isn't McDonald's or burger King. Ultimately worth the prices. But a bit high. OVERALL: Very pleasant dining experience for me and my family. All of us were impressed and will be back for more. The lunch is also fairly exquisite for the prices. Still pricy, but oh man...some super duper yummy stuff. Stop in for a to go order. Sit down and enjoy your food. Anyway you do it, it's always been a great experience.

Lots of items to choose from. Good stuff too, not junk food. Corner Bakery is a Healthy alternative to big name coffee shops that do not serve good stuff. So much good stuff on the menu that I couldn't decide what I wanted to eat, it was a great experience to have in being undecided on what I wanted to eat simply because there was so much good stuff to choose from. The dining room attendant can be a bit more professional and proficient in cleaning the tables without a soaking wet towel that leaves water on the table after cleaning it. By the way, towels to clean tables should not be used to clean the seats, these should be 2 different towels for sanitary reasons. Other than that issue, all was good at the Corner Bakery.

I got their chicken carbonara and chicken pomodori panini and the lemon bar. I consider myself a lemon bar officianado at this point as I try them everywhere I see them. The crust was a little hard to chew but the lemon was so crisp and flavorful. Overall an 8/10. The pomodori was so packed with flavor, I just about died. I will definitely try that one again. Finally, the carbonara was amazing! All the ingredients worked together so well and made a simply delicious dish without the need for additional seasoning. Check this place out, small but amazing food! I went in for breakfast and had one of their amazing breakfast bowls and holy cow was it delicious! Quinoa, chickpeas, spinach, pesto, tofu, eggs, and tomatoes all blended together to make an amazing and filling breakfast. As if that wasn't enough, I got a side of the fresh fruit and it was also fresh and delicious tasting. Between the two, I was satisfied and will try their breakfast again!

I've been enjoying delicious meals at the Red Butte Corner Bakery for well over a decade. My food is always great, and the prices are awesome. The coffee is also wonderful. I'm so grateful that this location made it through the difficult pandemic times, when all restaurants struggled. Consistency in hours and staffing has definitely returned post-covid, and I'm eating there a lot these days.
