O'falafel Etc.

My husband and I ate dinner here last night and were very impressed! The food was spectacular! We had the Falafel tin, the gyro tin, grape leaves, lentil spinach soup, hummus and batklava. The lamb was So tender and soft- pretty sure the best lamb meat I have ever had. My husband loved the falafel tin. The hummus was out of this world amazing! You can tell this restaurant takes pride in their homemade cooking! The place itself has cute wall paintings and pictures of the Mediterranean. Super cute! The service- we had a young gentleman that you could tell was new. He was super cute and very accommodating. We asked questions and he used the POS( the computer) to help him answer our questions- which is totally ok!! Very nice manners as well. There are only two critiques that my husband noticed and are not a big deal at all! 1) we didn’t know if we were to leave the dishes on the table or bring them back up front( we just brought them up front) and 2) my husbands falafel tin had a lot of rice. This is a hit or miss with him as he likes more salad than rice but nothing bad on the restaurant’s part! I am a restaurant manager and again- I was thoroughly impressed and we will definitely be back! Thank you so much! On a side note- I LOVE that the owner writes back to the reviews. This shows he cares about “ his baby”.

I’ve eaten here many times now. Their hummus is the best I’ve had in Salt Lake. Food is always fresh and tasty. Makhshi tin has been a favorite of mine. Today I ordered 2 tins for my partner and I and didn’t receive any of the mouth watering baked eggplant in either tin. I’m disappointed but will continue to order in restaurant but never delivery again. Update: I’m grateful for the owner and offering an appreciated solution. This is a classy and 5 star establishment.

The falafel here is so tasty, crispy on the outside full of warm flavorful potatoes on the inside I could have eaten a hundred if given the chance . Update (6/8/23) usually this place is five stars but came here and the falafel tasted bland and not as fresh per usual. update (9/20/23) back to 5 stars review I got the chicken shawarma and it was divine.

First time trying this for lunch today, faaaaantastic tasting food. I got the smothered tandoori chicken tin and it tasted so good, can't wait for the next time to experience it all over again. The lady at the counter was incredibly warm and welcoming and appreciative of the business, I will definitely be coming back.

Good food for a good price. I really liked the kifteh sandwich. Had the gyro bowl before and it was great, but I felt recently the cilantro sauce they used might have been a bit diluted or it got put less; I’d love to see consistency there. Staff are friendly and can help you choose items with detail info if you’re unsure of what to get.
