Got the stinger burger. Sweet and a little bit spicy. Could’ve been spicer. Overall great burger. Good, thick fries. Mormon Mash potato bites were good….unfortunately I don’t like eating things in the shape of circles. Find it difficult to eat. Atmosphere is fun and the service is great! Decorated for Halloween. Nice touch.

Food was pretty good. Shared some Mormon Funeral Potatoes which were good. I don’t love things fried in spherical shapes, but these were still pretty dang good. Got the Stinger burger to go with it and that was a great balance of spice and sweet. I ate the whole thing. Also they have motorcycle parking which made me feel pretty cool. CD Good not great. Solid if you want a burger. Wish the bleu cheese burger had more bleu cheese. But still good. TL

I came for the Mormon Funeral Potatoes, and they were not at all what I was expecting. They could have said that they are basically boudin balls. I couldn’t find any bacon, and I didn’t like how they tasted. Fried chicken was okay. I guess SLC isn’t known for that. The fries are excellent, so were the brussel sprouts. The side of green beans were undercooked and weird. However, the amazing atmosphere made it worth it. I would definitely come back and order something else.

#GarageonBeck definitely on the go to again list. Started with an appetizer of deep fried #mormonFuneralPotatoes it was the main reason I wanted to go there. They were fabulous! Made with Idaho potatoes, cheddar cheese, jalapeno, bacon, and scallions, rolled in a cornflake crust & baptized in hot oil. Served with Utah Ranch sauce. I had the #StingerBurger made with candied jalapenos, white cheddar cheese, crispy bacon and jalapeno honey, this baby delivers the sweet heat. The sweet heat was so good. Served on a lovely bun. Got the #roastedBrusselsprouts for the side which were amazing. I also tried the French fries which were yummy. So many options to try for another time. Yes, the place is an old garage mechanic shop next to the oil refinery. It kept the cool vibe and felt like you were a bit outside the city. Parking was tricky but it was fun driving over the curbs! Some good vegan options to try too.

I found this place on the interwebs and wanted to give it a shot. I've been in the Automotive business over thirty years and the little touches were really great. For example, shop rags for napkins. Our server was amazing. She nailed the order, kept the drinks coming. Other servers should seek to be this good. Now the food...all I have to say is there wasn't any left when we were done. From the chicken sandwich to the Mormon Funeral Potatoes and the brownie with vanilla ice cream and a bunch of other goodness, give it your best shot to beat this place. Heck, I loved it so much, I bought one of their T-shirts. Total Fan!!

Amazing amazing amazing bar with live band great food and service.vibe was too good enjoyed it thoroughly especially the Christmas decor and feel was good This is definitely a hidden gem. The drinks were good, food was good and the atmosphere inside was nice. Thoroughly enjoyed. Definitely must try if you want to hangout with your friends. Tried chicken pot pie, funeral potatoes and Nachos Garachos . Everything is good Parking is bit tricky but you can easily figure out with the other cars parked there

What a gem of a bar. This place is probably the most unassuming bar I've seen from the outside. Looks like a seedy dive but as soon as you walk in you will see the diamond hiding under the dirt. excellent staff very prompt service, a seasonal beer menu as well as seasonal food items and for those that are extra thirsty, may I recommend getting a stein of beer. Food service was extremely fast as well as excellent quality. Everything, including the side of garlic green beans was spectacular. This is a place that I will be going out of my way to visit again and I recommend that you do the same
