Primo

1st of all this is one of the most beautiful restaurants I've ever been inside. 2nd of all the food seemed like it was very good as long as you weren't vegan or Vegetarian. The service left a lot to be desired and then sustained because the restaurant itself is gorgeous. Really worth it just to eat there. Every detail of the design is immaculate and beautiful . It's also very comfortable.

My wife and I have been dining at Primo's for many years now. It is our go-to place when we want a QUIET FIRST CLASS experience. The food that we always order (chicken, shrimp, pasta) is consistently excellent. The service is excellent but also not hovering and you never feel pressured to leave so your meal can be leisurely. It is a quiet and spacious building, with their indoor tables normally placed far apart (some with partitions) so we feel safe there in the pandemic. We also feel like we can also enjoy a private conversation. Their summer patio is the best in the valley because it is in the back of the property away from traffic and behind walls, so it is quiet and shaded. Primo is an oasis in the heart of a busy city.

I dined on a Saturday evening in December with 5 friends and had a wonderful meal. The service, food and setting were all excellent. We sampled a number of dishes, Pasta, Veal and Chicken and each was nicely presented and perfectly cooked. During times of Covid and the challenges of finding dedicated employees, it is a delight to be served by caring, attentive people from the busboy all the way to the Chef who came to our table not once, but twice to check on our experience . I can’t wait to return.

Serving staff were friendly and very helpful. The dinner began with delicious homemade bread and Bruschetta. The Caesar Salad was perfect with just the right amount of Caesar dressing. The Pasta e fagioli was a creamy delight. Our group ordered the Shrimp Scampi, Crusted Bass, Veal, and Grilled Salmon. All were cooked to perfection. Don't skip the dessert. The Creme Brulee, German Chocolate Cake and the Chocolate Gelato were big hits at our table. The owner is a nice host who charmed our 2 young ones. He also treated them with a second helping of gelato. Really enjoyed our experience. We will definitely come back for our future meals.
