Bruges Belgian Bistro

We were the first ones in this morning. The staff was super friendly, even opening the door for us as we walked up. Decided to try 1 sweet and 1 savory waffle with some cheese fries (fritz). The waffle we picked was the “favorite”, which included strawberries and cream, and the bacon and egg waffle. The sweet waffle was good without the toppings. The toppings made it just a touch better. These are liege waffles, which are super sweet already. The surprise was the bacon and egg waffle. It was the same sweet waffle with a fried egg and cheese on top and two slices of bacon. The combo worked and it was so good. We thought the fries were just ok. I did like that they offer a wide range of dipping sauces. Overall it was ok. We wouldn’t go out of our way to go back, but will stop in if we are in the area. Just a heads up, parking is slim.

This place is an absolute gem. The food here is nothing short of amazing, and the folks behind the counter are incredibly friendly. I particularly adore their patio, and every time I dine here with my dogs, they go the extra mile by treating them to a slice of bacon – it's such a thoughtful gesture. Without a doubt, I highly recommend trying the machine gun sandwich!

Stopped in during our vacation, and were pretty impressed! Parking is a little sketchy as the lot across the road is only for the liquor shop, but not too bad. Chicken sandwiches were absolutely delicious! Fries were very good, crispy sodas, fresh ingredients. Kids devoured their chicken strips. Clean interior, fun art/decor, no wait/no line. Friendly and helpful staff! Very good overall! We would definitely return for something a bit different.

We go here literally all the time. Everything we have ordered has been amazing! The first week we moved here, we ordered food from here 3 times in 2 days because we were obsessed. The fries with all the different dipping sauces is our favorite part. But the waffles are also amazing and my personal favorite is the croque madame 😍 as you can tell, we LOVE this place

Hip little Bistro serving the best frites (fries) my wife and I have ever had in the west. The waffles are not gluten-free so we couldn't try them, but the frites were perfect. Fried twice and cut fresh on-site, they were a perfect golden hue and deliciously crispy. The selection of fry sauces are excellent, but these fries shone best with ketchup. Mmmm Must stop in Sugar House if you like comfort food
