King Buffet

November 3rd 2023. The guy that was cooking at the round grill dumped half of my food in the circle and I didn't have very much already. I had to just walk away and leave it. I don't know why he did that and then next the waiter wasn't paying attention to us but he did with everybody else. This is the first time for a long time I didn't tip. The food was great dishes were a little dirty. The atmosphere in hole is not too bad. Update on my review This is in December. Lunch here is better. Especially the service.

Most good was good tho the Mongolian bbq got a bit burnt tho I don't really blame the staff as it was very busy to the point some customers pushed me aside and put their plates before mine. Seems like there wasn't enough staff at that station to properly fix the food. Other than that Friendly staff our waiter got my friend a birthday cake.

Took my kids there for their Birthday. They're adults, but when everyone is indecisive, go somewhere that has everything. Problem solved. The food at the S State St. location is always good. It's comforting when you're able to count on ALMOST every item always being there. My only complaint is that a while back, they used to serve this clear jello that just looked like a glass brick. Not much to look at, but when I had my first bite, it was on like Donkey Kong. The flavor was somewhere between lychee & white gummy bear. That with some of the fresh fruit they have at the fruit & veggie line, and I don't want anyone talking to me or even in my general direction....and then after a bit, it was gone. Haven't seen it again. I bug the staff all the time but they won't bring it out. I think they find it funny torturing me. King Buffet. Go there. Eat until it hurts. You won't regret it. Don't trust me. Just do it.

If you like Chinese buffet, it is highly recommended here. The price is reasonable, 22 dollars per person, which is much cheaper than California. And there are many kinds of food: Japanese cuisine, fried dishes of your choice, seafood desserts, fruits and ice cream. You can find a lot of food you want to eat there. For me, its hot spot is self-help stir-fry. You can choose vegetables, seafood, meat and side dishes and seasonings according to your own preferences, and the chef will fry a hot and delicious dish for you on the spot. It's delicious! They serve plenty of food, and every food I eat tastes good. It's great! The waiter asks you warmly and politely for the drink you need and delivers it in time. Used dishes can also be cleaned in time. I had a very satisfactory consumption, and finally I had an ice cream after I was full. I have to recommend it to my friends who come to visit Salt Lake City. Five stars praise!

After many years of being around, this buffet restaurant is pretty consistent with their food varieties. Plenty of selections of seafoods, meat (chicken, pork, beef), vegetable dishes, choice of carbs: rice or lo mien noodles, steam or fried rice, different types of bread), appetizers and desserts. They even have mongolian grill where you can customize your dish to your liking. Plenty of desserts and bottomless drinks. Staff/Crews are very attentive and polite. I like it that they always have someone checking the food items in their buffet area to make sure everything is in order, proper temperature and refilled when needed. I noticed that they somehow neglect to maintain the exterior of the building though. Some structures are broken and not well maintained. The garden area looks neglected too. Ok overall and would recommend.
