I can't believe they're closing! We used to eat here daily in the early 90's when I worked for a little sports store in the same plaza. Everyone has always been so friendly and the food - DELICIOUS! Go before they close so you won't miss out. Try the cream cheese wontons, egg drop soup and beef flat noodles! Thank you for sharing your delicious food with us for the past 3 decades. You'll certainly be missed!! ***They close Sunday July 26th at 9pm.***

I'm so sad that Sampan is closing because it was our first time there and we had such a good experience! The food was absolutely delicious, portion sizes were huge, and the service was wonderful as well. Visit them while you still can!

Can’t go wrong here. So many good options and flavors spot on. When we “crave” Chinese this is the joint. No other place will hit the spot. *Favorite* sesame beef. But the Lemon Chicken or Shrimp with green beans (pick you sauce) are all winners. We really enjoy the Shanghai noodles instead of the rice. But you can pick white rice, brown or ham fried. The lunch/dinner specials comes with egg roll, shrimp or wonton AND soup or salad. Portions sizes are plenty and don’t hesitate to share with others at the table. Kids portion is healthy size too and depending on the eater you could split between two kids. Good food at good price...dine here.

I have been coming back to sampan for years, they never fail to deliver really great tasting food. My favorite is the sweet and sour chicken. The texture of the fry is light and not heavy like most others who attempt the dish.

I like this place a lot.. we don't come up to this area very often from Utah county but I'm glad we found it and gave it a try. It's been awhile since we've been there just because we don't come up to that area of the Salt Lake valley very often.. but I can give it a definite recommend..I don't remember what it is called but there is a spicy Mandarin dish that I enjoyed very much... And to be honest it wasn't very spicy but it was very flavorful... Also the seating is nice and open and it's not too noisy even when it was busy..

They have some very standard affair Chinese food. But, it very good, the quality is good, and it's usually pretty quick. The prices are fair and won't break the bank. Beer and wine is served which is always nice. They offer delivery when its cold or you're lazy to go out.

Loved it. I use to go here over 13 years ago when we lived in the area. I remember great Chinese. Today I had the Asian soup with rice noodles and pork it was very delicious. Perfect late lunch on a clod day. Great atmosphere, quite in the late afternoon. Very clean. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend.

Great food, fair price. This is the only Chinese restaurant I will order from anymore. We had attended a wake yesterday and cooking wasn't an option.The delivery service worked well for us, just call and confirm they received it. However, if you are using your card, you can't add a tip on it at the door. I didn't have cash and accidentally entered a low tip amount, I thought I could adjust it but I could not. The driver did not take it personal, they delivered on time, and brought exactly what we ordered. I'll make sure to tip better next time because they really deserved it. Thanks guys! You really helped improve the end of a crappy day.

I always get take-out. Their take-out game is top notch. Normal wait on a weekend night is 30 minutes. Never is there an issue with our order. As far as the food, they have a huge selection. I like to order something new every time I go. I like to try new things. So far I have found items I would have never thought to get. Try it too, you'll surprise yourself on what you like.
