They won’t hold your hand through the food ordering process, but this place is good. The gentleman serving me never cracked a smile, but he was all business when it came to the food quality. No frills, but tastyyyyy

One of, if not the best, pho in the Salt Lake area. Aromatic, hearty broth, steak was soft and flavorful, service was great. I can’t believe I hadn’t tried them till now. Will return.

Broth was flavorful. Meat was good. I got the meatball and steak. Price was good. This stuff cured my covid too. Thank God for pho 99. The spicy beef is amazing too.

This is an absolute hidden gem of a restaurant for Vietnamese food!!! Its the same couple that have owned this place since I was a kid! Hands down the best fried rice I’ve ever had! And the best pho I’ve ever had! The prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge and can be shared between two! I’ve never had bad food here in the last 21 yrs I’ve been coming

Pho 99 is my go-to place when I crave pho. I have been going to this place for almost 30 years now. The food is good with a variety on the menu to choose from. There’s also different pho dishes depending on the types of meat you like. I usually order the steak and meatball and the char-grilled pork served with steamed rice. They also have the best egg rolls imo.

Met my wife here for a spontaneous dinner in the middle of where we were both driving from.
Food was great. Reasonably priced.
The owner was very kind and you could tell he takes pride in his work.
