Came here to celebrate our friends 19 year anniversary. Food was so good! Get the cheese enchilada and a pina colada and you will be transported to heaven. Linda was our server and was incredibly helpful and efficient. She made sure we had all we need. Food came out quickly.

Linda was fantastic. Very detail oriented and our order was perfect, including to go cups for all of our drinks. Even on a very busy night. Well done. We hope she enjoys some spicy sweet chili Doritos.

El Matador is one of our favorite restaurants. Their food is consistently delicious, especially their ground beef tacos! The environment is welcoming and clean and the prices are great for the amount of food. We love El Matador!

Truly a delightful experience! We will come again 😁 In spite of how busy it was, we were seats in a reasonable amount of time. Our server was very prompt and attentive. Prices were reasonable and very good compared to the portions. Everything we tried was delicious from the opening salsa to the sopapilla dots that were drizzled with honeybutter, caramel, and raspberry sauce!

Love the warm salsa! Most places don't offer it this way but once you've tried it, it's hard to go back to cold salsa.

This is a decent Mexican food restaurant for Utahns. No Mexican music, no Mexican waitress, but the food was good - Not too spicy. Was there beer on the menu? I can't remember. My 14 yo thought the refried beans were crusty but I liked them and the ten year old did too. Three of us had the sweet pork enchiladas and we all agree that were good. Oh-and the kids' meal was a great deal. $8 for a ton of food! I'll go back. Maybe I'll take a bottle of hot sauce with me. 😏

El Matador has been a part of my life for over 35 years. I feel like family when I am here. The food is very consistent and delicious. The cheesy salsa is just about perfect.
The owners are usually around and are the best. Love this spot!!!
