I recently dined at J Prime Steakhouse and was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance was elegant, service impeccable, and the steaks were cooked to perfection. What sets them apart is their consideration for diverse dietary preferences, offering a commendable selection of halal meat options. While it's a bit on the pricey side, the exceptional quality and accommodating menu make it well worth the splurge. Definitely a top-tier dining experience deserving of five stars!

Donnie made the experience amazing at our visit for my daughter’s birthday! He nailed the recommendations for us based on what we liked and if it was not quite right, he made it right. He made my daughter’s day as special and as unforgettable as her first time visiting with him. He remembered her preferences since the summer! The food was exquisite - with attention to detail to our dietary needs - the quality of the meat was light and decadently placed on your plate. He was quick to remind us of the restrictions when choosing our food to ensure it was safe. The drinks - just what we love. The carajillo is my new dessert drink I can’t wait to have again - thanks to his recommendation. I appreciated Donnie making it a decaf as it was late which was something I did not think of. These were the details that made me feel as if I were staying at the Four Seasons here in SA. Our chef recommended JPrime for the quality of food and the sensitivity to dietary restrictions and I am so glad we listened. For an unforgettable experience with Donnie, delicious food and drinks, JPrime will not disappoint.

My husband and I went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and J Prime did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in the service and attention was on point! Our waiter Hamilton was the best with answering all of our questions. The drinks, food and dessert were amazing!!! I definitely recommend J Prime when in the San Antonio area.

Update: We visited a second time, this time for my wife's birthday. Nothing has changed, we love this place, yes it's pricey, but the service is on point like no other place and the steaks are absolutely delicious! **** This was a complete success from food, service and atmosphere. Our server Donny was excellent. It was my birthday, covered my first glass of red wine, my steak was cooked to my specs and our sides were excellent. The huge slice of birthday cake at the end completed a awesome dining experience. Thank You J-Prime!

We just had one of the best dining experiences at J Prime! Food was delicious. Service was top notch. Shout out to our waiter Marco in San Antonio! The restaurant has a cozy ambiance. We picked a great place to celebrate my hubby's birthday. Will definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back.

It was our 23rd Anniversary. Wow, what is celebration. Culinary excellence! Totally exceeded our expectations with every course, with the service & ambiance. Our server-Isaac excellent. He knew how to interact, great personality, he knew each place were sourced, he knew the wines & which to pair, he was also the trainer ( Samantha). We tried both hot & cold appetizers. Our favorites were tartare trio and the lobster ceviche. Recommended by Isaac! We got to try extra micro greens to decipher which plants they were. We enjoyed the lemon and sorbet palate cleanser. I don’t want to forget the lobster bisque soup & yummy sides: potatoes, bread ( to die for) & mushrooms in red wine reduction sauce. The A-5 wagyu Japanese steak was truly remarkable, we both agreed it was the best steak we had ever had. A great combination of marbling. It was so tender you didn’t need a knife, with a buttery taste. We love the duck confit!! Wow, a tasty surprise. You can see by the things that we were able to try how high end this restaurant is. Definitely for someone who appreciates high end dining & culinary!! We also tried the lobster- didn’t disappoint. For dessert bananas flambé. We love the showmanship & expert execution. The coffee, after dinner drink ( like a milkshake) & finally the carrot cake. We were savoring & enjoying every minute and 4.5 hours passed. Thank you also to the J Prime staff for making our tables so special by adding fresh petals to longstem roses and a happy anniversary card. This was truly an amazing experience.

I want to start by saying, Marcus made our entire experience absolutely perfect! He truly went ABOVE & BEYOND to make sure our anniversary was special! From start to finish we were given such a personal experience with a personalized card, everyone knowing our last name & addressing us by it, the genuine conversations, we will never forget this night! Issac also started us off with being so nice & made sure we were taken care of throughout the night! The chef treated us to a lovely special starter, the bread & butter was so awesome, our food was cooked to perfection & to end our night Marcus surprised us with the most thoughtful array of desserts! We already loved & raved about J-Prime, but now, we are obsessed! We don’t live near but we decided before our night ended we would be coming back for every important event in our life! We are so grateful for the experience & cannot wait to come back & request Marcus for another fabulous experience!

The experience at this restaurant was amazing from the moment my wife and I walked through the door. Yes pricey but so well worth it. Food was delicious and the service was the best I’ve ever experienced. Cleanliness was great the vibes were great and our waiter was knowledgeable, very informative, and made our evening extremely enjoyable. I recommend J Prime for any romantic occasion or even a birthday dinner.
