Fish City Grill - Northwoods

I ordered what the server Victor suggested. Which was the Maine Lobster and Shrimp pasta. It was delicious 😋 My wife enjoyed the Seared George's Bank Scallops & Applewood Wrapped Shrimp. It was also very tasty 😋 We happened to arrive during happy hour, so we enjoyed the Woodford Reserve Manhattan and a Perfect Patrón Margarita. We highly recommend all these items and their customer service!!!

We’ve been here about 3 times and all experiences were good. You have got to try the oyster nachos!!! They’re really good. The first time we went I ordered the shrimp tacos, the menu didn’t say that they were breaded but they were and they were sooo spicy that my mouth was on fire. I wouldn’t order that again. I really liked the salmon on top of a salad. Then this last time I ordered a fish plate which was also delicious! I would give them 4.5 stars.

Oh my goodness not sure why this was our first time eating here. Appetizer included fried calamari, fried pickles and shrimp and crab queso. All good and queso was a very nice surprise. My hard to please husband had the seafood platter and loved it. I had a new dish shrimp and chicken pasta dish and also very good. We sampled the roasted jalapeno, crab bisque, clam chowder, and gumbo soups and all excellent although my favorite was the roasted jalapeno. We also got to sample their oyster nachos once again on point. Definitely going back!

Came for lunch on a Sunday after church with a group. Generally good service during a busy time, though the waiter never came backto ask anyone about refills on drinks (except for margaritas). Most likely due to being understaffed and very busy. Had one of the Jalapeno Bacon Mahi with red beans and rice special and the fresh mix of ingredients was excellent. Only strike would have been that the soft shells were very dry, like they had been under the hot lamp for a good while before being brought out with the rest of our group's orders. Still, very tasty. Overall, a good experience.

Service was good. Staff was super friendly . Atmosphere was fantastic . But the food was decent. I ordered some fish and chips, the look of the food was appetizing, but the fish was a little bit overdone or over-fried. A little bit of seasoning would have also made it better. Fries tastes pretty good, and the Tartar Sauce made it so delicious. I would recommend getting to cups of Tartar sauce, they served them in small portions. Overall, Amazing 👍.

Food is always flavorful. But today the salmon portions were small. I was expecting a bigger size for what we paid. Ordered vegetables medley I only got the broccoli. As you can see my husband got a plate with rice and black beans. Drink are cold and refreshing. Our server was very welcoming and nice. Took away that one star for the food portions.
