Tony Roma's

I have been to Tony Roma's twice in the past year when we were on vacation in San Antonio. Both visits were great and everything was as expected. We tend to eat dinner on the early side, around 5 ish. During both visits it was not crowded which meant we didn't have to wait which was nice. The staff was great both times. Our waiters were friendly both visits and very tentative. They checked on us periodically to make sure everything was to our liking and bring us refills on our drinks. You have the option to dine outside while h is nice. You are seated where the River Walk ends at the malls edge. It is covered as well. My last visit I had the New York strip with a side salad and baked potato. Everything was delicious! We also had the onion stack as an appetizer I would highly recommend dining here at some point! These two visits were the only times I have ate at a Tony Roma's and I will be going back again I'm sure.

Food was incredible. I asked my server Joey for drink and food recommendations and got the fillet medallions and sweet tea lemonade cocktail, they were all amazing. The steak was one of the best dishes I have ever had. Joey's service was great too; he made the best recomendations, checked up often, and was very nice and friendly. Lastly the outside patio was very nice because we could dine with our dog. I highly recommend eating here.

We used to be big TR fans until some bad experiences turned us away Recently my husband said he wanted some ribs so we went back. Boy what a difference. The food was great. I loved the picata. The potato soup was delicious and my husband whose mouth is paralyzed on his left side had no trouble enjoying his ribs. We are so glad TR is back.

Amazing! We had booked a dinner cruise catered by Tony Romas, but it was cancelled due to weather. Jim, the manager, was so kind and helpful and gave us the choice of all our money back or dinner at his restaurant that night and the difference of course refunded. The food and service was terrific, Jim was awesome to us, AND he refunded our ENTIRE DINNER and cruise much to our surprise. Thanks again Jim and when we get back to San Antonio, which we will, we will be back to your restaurant with friends! Frank and Jan Roman

Wow I was out here on business a couple months ago and thought I was not going to go back, but I gave Tony Roma's another chance. The place looks great. The Kickn' Shrimp are fantastic. The bar now has Texas Craft Beer on Draft. The server said they now serve the draft beer at 29 degrees. Great job to the servers, managers, and cooks. The restaurant has really turned around.
