Sushihana Contemporary Japanese Restaurant

I have eaten sushi in many places throughout the country and have had the benefit of enjoying some very high-end places. Especially in the Pacific Northwest where we have some of the fresh seafood I would suggest in the country. I was incredibly surprised at the quality service and atmosphere of sushi Hanna. H, what an amazing find. This is possibly the best sushi restaurant I've ever eaten at.

Wow, what an amazing restaurant! The atmosphere, the food, the staff, definitely one of the best sushi restaurant I’ve been to in a long, long time. You can tell their chef has put a lot of time into curating the dishes. Our family ordered a bunch of different cuts of sashimi and nigiri and rolls, every piece was fresh and tasted great. I’d be remiss to not mention the dessert. Fried banana and the chocolate lava cake, both so so good! We will definitely be returning next time we’re in town.

The service was amazing, my waitress was so kind. It was my first time eating sushi ever and she had some amazing recommendations. She was patient and just so sweet, there was a line where you could see the ingredients and a person behind me allowed me to sample some crab! They were so unbelievably kind and just great. The food was amazing, the paradise sushi was so good and their Japanese Spring Rolls were SO. FREAKING. GOOD. And the sauce that came with it was AMAZIIINNNGGG!!!!!!!! I almost wanted to drink it. They have a beautiful inside of the place and it smells so good! No doubt I will come here again.

You can go dressed casual or fancy and it doesn’t matter because you are just going for great sushi! The staff was very friendly and can answer any questions you have about the menu. They accommodated my group of 8 with no problem (splitting checks / food modifications). It reminds me of Oishii - a classic Dallas sushi spot.

Came here for a traditional Japanese New Year's meal. I didn't have reservations, but was able to get quickly seated since it was lunch time and not crowded. Note, they do close down after lunch and reopen again in the evening. Luckily, I came in early enough before they closed at 2p. Ordered the tempura asparagus, tempura green beans, and tempura sweet potato, and asparagus fries as appetizers. Each came out within 10 minutes and were perfectly fried and crisped. For the meals, ordered the Beef Yakitori, Grilled Octopus, Negitorio Roll, Big Easy Roll, Dragon Roll, and Sushi Sashimi Combo. The orders came out as they were ready and were nicely plated. Fish was fresh and of good quality. There's not many options for good sushi in San Antonio, but this is definitely one of the better ones.

We walked in and we were greeted by a super friendly lady. I made reservations, so we were seated right away. Our waiter Lucas was on top of everything and we have nothing to complain. The whole staff was amazing, the food delicious and I'm sure we will be back! 1 little tip, adding some butter and some more salt to the edamame would be amazing.

Fantastic food. This place has the best sushi and seafood in San Antonio. I would give them 10 stars. The appetizers were delicious, and the drink menu includes a good selection of cocktails and wine. The sushi menu includes a variety of fresh and delicious ocean treats. I had the sea bass, which was absolutely the best I have had. Extra delicate and delicious the fish was cooked perfectly and exceeded my expectations. The dessert was the banana roll and it was a table favorite. The staff is wonderful, and the owner takes great care in ensuring your dining experience is the best it can be. Don't wait, go eat there today, it's worth it.
